The cottage was lovely.

The cottage was lovely. It may be worth stating in the particulars the number of steps between rooms and the steepness of one of the set of stairs.

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location.

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. Very happy with our stay, the cottage is well equipped and spacious throughout although there are the quirks of a cottage of this age with low ceilings and tight steep stairs but that just added to its charm. It is in need of a little TLC with little windows that don't shut properly, filthy extractor over the hob, and the back gate was lying on the floor so not secure for children or dogs. Also a small fence around the garden wall would be a safety feature for children who could fall the metre drop onto gravel but it's just a suggestion as we were in the garden with the children anyway. All in all we had a great stay and spent most of our time in the kitchen which was bright and airy. Highly recommend for a relaxing get away
