The perfect weekend getaway for friends

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay, the property is secluded yet has great access to local amenities. The property has absolutely everything you could possibly need and the host communication was great.

Absolutely fab!!

What a beautiful house and fab hosts! We rented the cottage for my sister's hen do and it could not have been more perfect for what we had planned. The space inside and out was brilliant for a group and Charlie and Kitkat were really helpful in the lead up and during our stay. We really enjoyed having the big outside space, as well as plenty of space to cook and dine together - the double fridge was excellent! Lovely easy walks to do from the house as well to blow out some cobwebs. Would highly recommend and will keep it in mind for any other future family gatherings! Thank you for having us!

A perfect weekend stay for my birthday

Kitkat and Charlie's lovely country house was a fantastic retreat for an autumnal weekend. I rented the place for a couple of nights in mid November to celebrate my 30th and it surpassed my expectations. The property is very well equipped, from mocha pots to the emergency toiletry that someone will inevitable forget, we were all impressed by the thought put into every detail. The place worked perfectly for the surprise murder mystery that had been organised. The facilities meant every one of my group had something they could enjoy, the putting green, guitars, and piano were a big hit, not forgetting the wood burning hot tub (tip: give yourself a couple of hours to heat it up!). Kitkat and Charlie have done a brilliant job balancing both rustic charm with a bit of county glamour making the place feel very special. I would definitely consider returning for another long weekend, and highly recommend it for a wintery retreat!
