6 Bedroomed Mill House sleeps up to 12 with spa treatments available

Blacklands Mill House is a home in the Heart of Wiltshire. It has wonderful views of the Marlborough Downs, Wansdyke with a Lake in the garden.

This House has been lovingly restored to provide high quality accommodation. It consists of 6 Bedrooms, 5 Kingsize beds and 1 Double Bed. ( the beds cannot be split)

The price is for 6 bedrooms up to 12 people.

All rooms are en-suite and individually decorated. They all have a 32" TV, Hairdryer with Tea/Coffee Making facilities in the rooms. The property is located well for walkers, golfers, nature lovers, the house is adjoined to an early 19 th Century Flour Mill which we will be restoring in the next year.

There are many options to choose from when renting this home. Family gatherings, which can include small group celebrations. Wedding parties wanting somewhere for everyone to gather pre and post wedding. We are local to Wellington Barn and Bowood. Please contact us for rates.

The house was exactly as advertised, beautiful and fully equipped with everything you'd need. All the bedrooms are beautiful and the en-suites for every room was a saving grace for 11 women! The garden and lake were amazing, swans, ducks and otters were seen!Everyone was very sad to leave

A fabulous property for a long weekend away with friends. It really was everything we were hoping it would be. Beautiful house that had everything you could possibly need. Great surrounding area with plenty of things close by to keep us busy.

Excellent property. Enjoyed it thoroughly loved the large dining table which seated 12 people comfortably. Outdoor area also idyllic overlooking the lake and enjoyed the well maintained hot tub. Kitchen was very well equipped and supermarket was a short drive away to get provisions. Sue and family were excellent hosts and also immediately posted back some clothing that was left behind. Thank you Sue.

Birthday and pre wedding girls trip

We had such a lovely stay at Mill House. 10 girls looking for some relaxation before one of the girls got married. The house was gorgeous and Sue and Bridget were so informative. It was so clean and each room had such character. The house is close enough to Calne but in such a relaxed area. Would highly recommend for anyone that wants a relaxing trip but beautiful trip.

Stunning accommodation

We needed somewhere for family and friends to stay to attend my son’s wedding. This property offered just what we needed and more. The house and rooms are stunning. Fantastic property

We had a wonderful stay. The house is beautifully furnished and the views stunning. our check in was easy and Bridget, the house manager was always on hand to answer questions and help If you want to cook, the kitchen is big and very well equipped. I highly recommend this house for a large family gathering or just quiet weekend away. We had a family wedding nearby. There are lots of lovely places to visit while you are there as well. It was a perfect choice!

Brilliant, just what we needed

Great place for group of 12

We had a lovely time at Blacklands Mill, everything was provided and it’s a beautiful place. Communication with the owner was straightforward when we had some internet gremlins that needed to be shooed away. Kitchen well equipped, aga was slightly awkward to use but part of the fun! Bedrooms comfortable and warm and en suite. Lovely fireplace. The dining room was the hub for the weekend and was great for a large group. Recommended!

Absolutely Stunning stay!

This property is, without doubt, the most stunning rental property I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. Everything is just oozing quality. Fixtures, fittings, bedding, decor, the list goes on. The kitchen is something to behold and has every possible quality utensil and crockery, glassware that you could possibly need. The grounds are just out of this world. We just felt so at home. We hired a private chef recommended by the host -S R Dining and I can thoroughly recommend him to cook for you. The hot tub was a heavenly addition and we used it and loved it! The host Sue was so friendly and helpful. The little touches and individual decor in each bedroom and bathroom was just delightful. Look no further if you want a wonderful, tranquil stay in this area. Book here, you will never want to leave! Thankyou to the Ravens for sharing this beautiful property!

60th Birthday Weekend

Loved our stay at the Blacklands Mill. A special treat for our 60th birthdays finally happened after over a two year wait and several Covid delays. Such a lovely outlook across a pond with plenty of bird life to watch swans, ducks and herons. Owners have landscaped the grounds and outside area to a very high standard. The mill has also been beautifully and stylishly refurbished to a very high standard. Comfortable and classy bedrooms all en-suite, individually decorated and with quality bedding. Dining room extension is an ideal social space with 14 quality chairs that fit around a huge table. Kitchen was impressive- well stocked with crockery, cutlery and glassware. Huge electric AGA plus additional matching conventional cooker, two dishwashers and two sinks including extra taps supplying cold drinking water and boiling water for hot drinks. Lounge area was cozy and wood supplied for the log burner - much appreciated on a cold and rainy Saturday afternoon. Space in lounge was a tight for our group of 14 but it didn’t affect the wonderful time we spent at the mill. We had two attic bedrooms (7 rooms in total) with one leading through to a games room so not ideal for the people sleeping in that room but from November the house is offered with six bedrooms only so that will ease the demands on the lounge space. Jasmine was superb. So helpful and extremely prompt at replying to our numerous queries. Thank you to the owners from us all. We had a great time .

Just STUNNING!!

This property was beyond our expectations… it was perfect! The house is absolutely stunning and had everything we needed! Perfect for the chilled out hen do we had planned. Some amazing and relaxing in house treatments by lovely therapists. The list really is endless…! We had a lovely stay at Blacklands Mill House! The house is so we equipped and it is lovey that every room has its own bathroom. Brilliant Property for Group Holiday

Great place to meet up with old friends. The 6 ensuites gave flexibility and privacy. Great cooking facilities. Dining room a brilliant open area. Ample parking and the fridge made ice! Hot Tub was a gret plus and lovely to watch the swans from. What more could you want.

This place oozes style!

We are the Raven Family. We bought Blacklands Mill House and Farm in 2013. We have been gradually renovating the house, surrounding farmland, buildings and stables. We have finally finished the house. We still have lots to do around the Land along with farming duties.

Why they chose this property

Blacklands Mill House has heaps loads of history attached to it. It still has a working flour mill attached to house which is one of next projects. We are hoping to be able to show people round and let them have a go at Milling in the future. The grounds are wonderful the Lake is so tranquil, watching the Swans with their babies through the summer all the ducks and the trout jumping is great to watch.

What makes this property unique

The Lake is one of the unique benefits along with the views. Our onsite Treatment Room offers Massage. Facials and many more treatments. Please Book in advance. The house has been refurbished to high standard, it has a good size kitchen with a brand new Aga.
