Surrounded by mountains, frequented by sporty cyclists and caressed by cycle paths and the Maggia River, the village of Cavergno is the junction point for those who want to access the walks in Val Bavona up to the peaks of Robiei and those of the exceptional Bosco Gurin only a 20-minute drive away.

Within a 10-minute drive, explore the quaint village of Foroglio with its stunning 108-meter-high waterfall or Cevio, offering more extensive hiking trails and historical sites. A 15-minute drive leads to San Carlo, where you can take a cable car up to Robiei for breathtaking panoramic views​​. Meanwhile, cycling enthusiasts can paddle through the cycle/pedestrian path that goes throughout the Maggia Valley. For easy day trips, the towns of Locarno and Ascona on Lake Maggiore are about a 40-minute drive, boasting beautiful promenades, historical landmarks, and vibrant markets. Ascona is also an ideal gateway to the magical Brissago Islands.

The nearest international airport is Milan Malpensa, a 2 hour and 30 minutes drive. The closest restaurant is the typical Ticinese restaurant Il Torchio, just below the residence complex and the nearest supermarket is just next door.
