Cozy Studio with Swimming Pool Near the Sea


ELEA is located at Makris Tichos, one of the most beautiful areas of Chania, only 4km far from the city centre. The visitors will surely be impressed by the tasty decoration, the feeling of homely care and exterior environment which is immersed to the Cretan landscape. The charming swimming pool offers moments of relaxation and calmness under the sun, while the guests can enjoy peaceful shady spots in the big garden with local olive and banana trees. Moreover, the four most beautiful beaches of Chania are only 400m away and are easily accessible on foot.


The studio is a single-space apartment which was renovated in 2011. It has a well-equipped kitchen and a double bed for two people. It also has a bathroom with shower cabin. In front of the studio there is a yard with view of the swimming pool, the bar-restaurant and the garden with olive and banana trees which gives visitors the opportunity to relax and rest.


In the area there are two big super-markets and several restaurants (300m). There is well-organized transportation to the town (every 10 minutes) and the bus stop is only 300m away.


We have created a peaceful place for relaxation and calmness and we are waiting for you. Its a home away from home!


Note: Elea is the translation of the english word olive tree in greek language.

Elea Apartments

We really enjoyed our stay at Elea Apartments. The owners were always available and very helpful and gave us some great advice on restaurants in Chania. The location is excellent and very close to 4 lovely beaches and some very nice restaurants. The fact that it's so close to Chania was a real bonus which we made the most of. We'll definitely be coming back soon. Yamas, Martin and Tina.

Bella struttura in una posizione strategica! Consiglio vivamente!!!

Ambiente informale e rilassato ma ben curato. L'appartamento nel quale abbiamo soggiornato era molto carino, spazioso e con una cucina accessoriata di tutto ciò che può essere necessario per realizzare dei pasti a casa. La pulizia generale era buona ma andrebbe curata un pochino di più, soprattutto in bagno. Piccole migliorie sono sempre possibili! La posizione della struttura è ottima poiché rimane fuori dalle vie più trafficate ma è a due passi da supermercati, ristoranti e negozietti vari. Ci sono spiagge attrezzate nelle vicinanze alle quali si può arrivare a piedi senza il minimo problema. La terrazza privata esterna che dà sulla piscina permette di consumare colazioni e cene all'aria aperta e in assoluta tranquillità. Consiglio vivamente questa struttura, ci tornerei anche subito!

Ess- und Schlafbereich nicht getrennt - Wasserkocher mit abgelöstem Boden - Kaffeemaschine nicht sauber. Zweiplattenherd veraltet (nur eingeschränkt funktionsfähig) Ansonsten okay.

Very nice accomodation!

We (a young couple) had a wonderful stay at Elea. Our studio was clean and provided everything we needed. The owners are very friendly and offer delicious local food at their snackbar. We didn't use the pool as there were nice beaches that could be reached in a few minute's walk. Except us there were many families with small children. It didn't bother us though as it was still quiet and peaceful. We can definitely recommend Elea to anyone who is looking for a nice vacation in a beatiful area and a warm-hearted atmosphere!

siamo arrivati al porto di heraklion e dopo aver noleggiato un'auto ci siamo diretti verso Chania. le indicazioni erano sommarie e ci siamo persi. Il proprietario non ci ha chiamati nonostante il grande ritardo e quando sono riuscito a contattarlo mi ha finalmente fornito delle indicazioni. la stanza era molto piccola (cucina e camera assieme). pulito (le pulizie vengono fatte ogni 3 giorni). il personale è molto gentile e ti fornisce indicazioni. c'è la piscina occupata sempre da bambini. è un luogo perfetto per famiglie. se siete giovani e volete dormire dopo aver fatto serata non andateci.

Beautiful, quiet, very friendly owners

We have had a very pleasant stay in the studio of Elea apartments. We felt welcome by the owner at the day of arrival, when she provided us information and good tips about the beaches, restaurants, activities and cities. During the stay, they were always in for a talk and made sure the guests felt okay. Very friendly and sincere! The studio was large enough for two persons. Every three days it was cleaned again and we got new towels, which was perfectly fine. We only missed a safe for cash/passports in the studio, however we felt very secure, so it was not that necessary. From the studio you were right at the pool. The beaches are very close, 5-10 minutes walk. The bus stop is also just a couple of minutes away, where you can take a bus to the centre of Chania in +/- 15 minutes. We did this a lot. We also recommend to have a meal at the bar. Very tasteful and fresh meals, made by the owners themselves. Family Patsoumadakis, thank you very much for making our vacation so pleasant! We will definitely recommend your property to friends and family. Maybe we'll see you another time.
