This Apartment with Pool in El Borne for 8 is an elegant 85 m² apartment located on one of the floors of a modern building that offers extensive amenities, such as a communal pool on the fifth floor and an elevator for greater comfort. The main space of the apartment is nice and spacious, divided into different rooms that include a cozy living room, a dining room and a kitchen accessible from a modern and practical bar.

Communication with property hosts was fine; they were responsive and helpful. We arrived early and were provided options of where to store our luggage. This may be a Barcelona thing, but we couldn't find the storage areas marked outside any building clearly and ended up walking with our luggage. We asked to get in early, which was not a guarantee, and that was fine. We were told 3:00 pm (scheduled check-in time) and when we got there, the cleaning person was still there and working her butt off to finish, but we still had to wait. Next, I'm not sure how you can call it a four bedroom when one of the "rooms" is a pull out sofa that shares space with the kitchen table/eating area. I was the person who booked the place and my husband and I left for a hotel to make sure the rest of our family was comfortable. If we hadn't, the people assigned to the pull out sofa would have had no sheets/linens for said pull out sofa. The two rooms with "twin" beds were like trundle beds - which when pulled out, took up the width of the room. All the mattresses were uncomfortable.There were several outlets without outlet covers and visible wires hanging out. The windows wouldn't shut effectively and the shades could not be lowered. Finally, you needed an app to get into the building. This was very tricky as the code often reset. If groups were separated, someone had to supply a code to the others so they could get back in, which was not always able to be handled in a timely manner.

Be aware that check-in location is not the property location

We enjoyed the neighborhood, and the place was fine for sleeping. If it had been warmer, we would've loved to enjoy the outdoor space as we had our own patio. The upstairs shower doesn't have a way to prevent water from going all over, so that prevented us from using that shower. Unfortunately, the shower in the primary downstairs had a stripped shower handle, so it wouldn't stay high enough up to stand under it (but at least the water did not go out of the tub!). The kitchenette had vertical drawers that house the glassware, so it was very tricky to open them smoothly and not jangle around the glass. Lastly, it does have a TV, but the cable or stations don't work. Thankfully, we did not spend much time in the apartment. When we did leave, we were able to walk everywhere.
