Cozy Cabin,Sandy Beach,Fantastic Dock W/ 50' TV & Boat Launch

This is a true Lake Martin Cabin where you can bring the family and relax! We feature a kids dream of a downstairs bunkroom with 4 Queen beds, private bath and wall mounted tv and Xbox. It's got it's own porch,table and chairs for games and is perfect for the kids. A stone patio with a fire pit convenient to the gas grill and outdoor dining is only steps awary. A new addition for 2016 is a Komodo charcoal grill. A relaxing bed swing is on the lower deck of the house as well as a 50' flat screen above the bar on the upper Dock. The upper dock two seating areas and a constant breeze...even in July.

The lot has a gentle slope to the 273 feet of unobstructed water view. Paved roads from Stillwaters Drive (Highway 34) lead to 'Beaver Lodge' as the only home on a quiet cul-de-sac. There is a regulation basketball goal in this area so bring your ball for a game. There is a circle drive and plenty of room for cars or your trailer once you have launched your boat or jet ski. If you don't have your own, watercraft can be rented from Stillwaters Marina only 10 minutes away. We do have two kayaks that you may use as long as you replace them back on the rack when you are through.

Beach chairs and lounge chairs are located on the dock. Beach Towels are also furnished for your stay. Steps from the dock to the covered upper deck (with two ceiling fans and a flat screen) provide a great place to have dinner, entertain friends, or read a good book.

Great fishing area for bream, catfish, or crappie off of the lower floating dock and in the back of the slough.

Enviable low-traffic slough for tubing, water-skiing, or just splashing with the kids. Our zero-entry sandy beach provides enjoyment of the lake for even the youngest guest.

Five minutes away from Stillwaters Golf Resort, 31 Miles from Auburn University, 90 Minutes from the Atlanta, Georgia Airport.

Great time at the lake

This lake house was exactly what our group of 14 had hoped for. The dock was amazing and being located in a calm cove made this a great spot. Todd was very accommodating - we would definitely stay here again.

Weekend Lake Trip

Perfect location for a group get together! Comfortable and spacious home with many amenities:great boat/swimming dock, kayaks, paddle boards, swimming float, fire pit, horse shoes, basketball, many comfortable seating areas with a terrific view of the lake. Wonderful vacation spot! Highly recommend.

End of summer fun

Refrigerator in kitchen had not been cleaned out. No can opener in kitchen. Door locks very difficult to use with key. Did not realize that second bathroom was only accessible to main floor by going outside. Did not have closets or places for hanging clothes in two of bedrooms. Over door hangers at least would be helpful. Guns easily accessible in two bedrooms. Should be locked up. Beautiful location. Appreciate convenient parking and ease of getting in main area. Great outdoor cooking facility. Swing needs repair. Enjoyed horseshoes. Although we didn’t use downstairs except for bath, very neat idea with bunks!

Nice place

The place was relatively clean. We had to clean a few things ourselves, nothing major. The pictures could stand to be updated not everything shown in the pictures is onsite. I had to reach out to the property manager about something that broke, that we made it makeshift repair on the dock and did not hear back for two days. What we repaired and no impact on the property as far as comfort and enjoying ourselves. Check out was relatively easy your basic please take out the trash, put everything back like you found it. Fair enough, considering you don’t know when the next guest are going to arrive,j you don’t want to leave TVs out outdoor uncovered, and what not. Overall quiet, little place tucked in where you can hang out in the water and relatively be undisturbed. We would definitely go there again. We brought our boat. Please read the description on the boat launch. If you do not own four-wheel-drive, I would not recommend trying to launch there. However, there’s a beautiful public launch less than 2 miles away and a 10 minute boat ride to get your boat back. Last but not least the family two residence down has a very friendly dog. He comes to hang out. He looks like he’s growling, but he’s actually smiling at you wagging his tail fiercely. He was very friendly like I said, did not beg or bark or growl for food while we ate outside on the decks.

10/10 for a long weekend

We rented this property for a bachelor trip/LSU game. Owner provided us with all of the information in a timely manner and the house was in great condition upon arrival. Will definitely look at booking again!

Family vaca

So adorable- pulling up it was instantly obvious we would have FUN! Everything you could need is at this property for a lake weekend. House was clean and inviting and slept all 8 of us with room left over! The ice machine on the dock was an absolute plus! My favorite part was probably all of the light in the trees and at boathouse. The family loved this stay and we will be back!

Worst vrbo we’ve ever rented.

Upon arrival there was a cat litter box at the front door, bottom deck fridge so full we had to empty of someone’s left overs, both garbage cans over flowing at the road from the time we checked in until the day before we checked out! So we had no where for our garbage! The top deck of the dock was so nasty with cans and beer bottles we didn’t even use it! The tv was not covered when we arrived on it either. There was tooth paste splattered on the sink and mirror and the toilet was not clean. The sheets had not been changed from previous renters and floors dirty! Every dish we used had to be hand wash by us before we could use it, and they left a blender on top of microwave with old food blended in it. 2 cans of chewing tobacco laying in the floor of the bunk room along with a face mask. And broken fan and bean bag! And no one mentioned that a dog would be with us at the house the entire time and we couldn’t even eat on the porches without him in our face. This was so embarrassing bringing my in laws to for the first time!!! I’ve stayed at many vrbo and I’m a house cleaner for 3 homes and a church weekly, this was crazy.

Lake Family Vacation

This house is perfect for a family vacation. It had plenty of room, shallow water for the small kids, floats, kayaks, paddle boards and water mat all ready to use. They also had an ice machine on the dock which was great!! We will definitely be staying again. Thank you for sharing your home!

Fun Fun Fun

My Family had the Best time at this property the owners make sure you have everything you could possibly need. The beach is perfect if you have little swimmers and the dock is amazing for the bigger ones to jump off of. They have a hugh aqua lilly pad that was a big hit with the kids. The Doc is amazing we had such a good time out there. There is a fish feeder on the upper deck that goes off and attracts the fish and turtle's. At night there is a light under the water and you can watch the fish from above. You cannot go wrong with renting this property we will definately be back.

80th B-Day, an AU graduation, Mother’s Day were all celebrated here!!

We had 12 adults and one baby stay at the lake house. There are only two bathrooms but it worked out for us. We did have to all get gussied up one morning during or stay but we started early with bathroom rotations and it worked out. The rest of the stay was total relaxation!! The downstairs is nice because it’s totally separate from the other part of the house. 2 very nice built in Queen size bunks down there with a double vanity and a separate room with the toilet and bathtub/shower. Upstairs was spacious enough for us. The bedrooms are small but you’re only sleeping there. The outside is wonderful!! There is a gas grill and a ceramic smoker (we didn’t either of these) and a black stone flat cooker which we did cook a large amount of burgers and hotdogs on. Saturday night our son invited some of his college friends over and my husband cooked a Low Country Boil. The guys had a great time visiting with us. Lots and lots of spaces for everyone to hang out outside. The upper deck at the boat house was a big hit!! There was only one issue we had but my son in law corrected it. The kitchen sink pipe came loose enough that water leaked into the floor. I would suggest the owners properly repair that before more renters stay. To summarize the stay I would say it has a cabin feel due to the size of the sleeping areas but it will work if you’re staying to enjoy the outside. The outside is what is great about this location with lots and lots of entertaining areas and lots and lots of space to park cars. The slough it’s on is great and the views are beautiful!! We would love to stay here again sometime!!!

Lake Martin stay

Had no Wifi pretty much the entire stay - which was a plus and a negative, LOL. If you're going there to truly unplug and relax, it's great, but if you have to work, you're outta luck! Plus there's no cable in the house or on the boathouse, it's only Netflix, so if you have no Wifi, you can't watch any TV. Having the Wifi in the evening is nice for the TV or video games for the kiddos - which was just constantly going in and out. The downstairs bunk room was great for the kids, gave us some separation. The furnishings and flooring on the main level could definitely use some upgrading, but beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed to cook. Also, the exterior furniture was nice but all the cushions were little dirty and could stand to be thoroughly cleaned or replaced. Owner provided a tube, and a big float mat which was super nice. All in all, great location, beautiful piece of property. We enjoyed our time!!!!!

Awesome Lakeside Retreat

We had a group out for a guys weekend and had an amazing time. The house was setup perfectly for 7-8 guys and the dock was amazing. We brought our own boats and spent almost all our time on the water or on the dock. Great accessibility for water activities and tons of space to enjoy the lake. Owner was great to work with and communicated well. We are already discussing our return trip.
