Great historic home with tons of character. We had a great time at this property, even though it was really cold outside while we stayed in Covington while we were there.
Beautiful property! Plenty of room for the whole family and close to a variety of things to do for everyone in your group. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
The house is beautiful and very large. With eight bedrooms and five bathrooms our whole family was very comfortable. There is a huge couch downstairs and a dining room with plenty of tables and chairs. The host was very responsive. We are going to book it again next year for our family Christmas
Perfect for our large group of work folks to do an intense few days of meetings and team building! Great spaces and very comfortable. The host was very communicative when needed.
We loved our stay! There was much room for our large group of 16. We prepared Thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen and we had space for everyone at the dining room tables. We used the 3rd table for plying cards, games and bingo. This is a wonderful large family home. Very comfortable with the children. The stairs are a little worrisome...you just can't keep kids from stairs and we had a couple of tumbles. Just as an fyi... it wasn't a deterrent for us. We took lovely family photos on the beautiful front porch and stairs. It was a great time by everyone!
Unbelievable home! Fantastic home owners! Everything was perfect. It was spacious and just a beautifully kept and everything you’d want out of the old queen victorian feel!
This beautiful home was absolutely perfect for our family gathering to celebrate our parent's 65th Wedding Anniversary. The living room/dining room area was very accommodating for us all (23 people) to gather and be together for the day, looking at photo books, talking, and doing some fun activities with an awesome family-friendly vibe. We gravitated towards the front porch and front yard for the evenings, playing corn hole and talking and front-porch visiting. The house was clean and we had tons of room for our large group. The host was hands down the best. Very responsive, caring and concerned for all of our needs. We would definitely stay at this home again and recommend this venue for a stay to take you back in time and a relaxing way to spend a weekend away with friends and family.
We had to travel to the area for a memorial service with several family members, flying in from all over the country. Brent was very accomodating, especially considering unstable weather and changing flights. The house itself was perfect, charming and everything we needed.
This was the perfect place for our extended family of 16. We enjoyed hanging out on the couch or chatting on the rocking chairs on the front porch. The house is in an awesome location where we easily traveled to the Arc Encounter and the Newport Waterfront. If we are in the area, we will definitely stay here again.
We loved the historical aspect of the house and area where it was located. All the upgrades to modernize the house was very stylish and complimented the aesthetics of it’s surroundings. It was very spacious and we loved the large surround sofas for family time and the many dining areas for our large group. We were very pleased and enjoyed our stay here.
Beautiful historic home which can sleep many. The first floor has a very large sectional and multiple tables making it easy and comfortable for group gatherings and game playing. We also enjoyed the outdoor space as a fun place to gather.
We greatly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful piece of history. Rooms are nice and large, original architectural details everywhere. 22 people including babies and we had PLENTY of room.
Back patio and hot tub were a great success also.
