Great except Day 1

We have stayed here before, and really enjoyed the location and the house. It’s a perfect location for us, a good sized flat, and well-equipped. The one issue we had this time was that it was late November and very cold, and the heating had not been switched on before we arrived. Therefore, it was very cold and the heating was ineffective until it had been on overnight. We wore coats inside the house and were cold overnight. The hosts were responsive and helpful but it was too late to be of practical help. So, I would strongly recommend that the heating be turned on ahead of guests arrival for stays in cold weather. Apart from the difficult first night, it was a great place to stay.

Dear Bernard, thank you so much for your detailed feedback and for choosing to stay with us again. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the location, the house, and the amenities overall. We truly regret that the heating wasn’t turned on in advance of your arrival during such cold weather. We understand how uncomfortable that must have been, especially on your first night, and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience. Your suggestion to preheat the house before guest arrivals in colder months is an excellent one, and we’ll discuss with the team on implementing this step. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we’re so glad that despite this hiccup, you still had a great stay. We hope to welcome you back again and provide an even better experience next time! Sincerely, Allana
