Lovely placs

Really enjoyed the stay! Hot tub was lovely! Was slightly disappointed there was no projector outside as advertised but never mind.

8/10 Good

The site, cottage and local area are lovely. The animals are added bonus.

The cottage was smaller than expected, more than 2 adults would be a rather uncomfortably tight squeeze. It was lovely an clean inside and had everything you would want and need.. the outdoor area is great as well with the projector an fire pit. Only issue for us was the hot tub was dirty, it had sand in it a loads of tree needles, wood chip and leaves from surrounding trees. Repositioning of the hot tub would help with this

Such a relaxing and amazing stay!

The location was perfect! Amenities were clean and they really think about all the little extras like a bottle of wine and treats for the dogs!! Loved it and will definitely be back!!

Lovely place but not big enough for 4 people…

Lovely place with everything you need. We stayed as a family of four. I think this place is more suited to 2 people, as it’s too small for a family. Slightly overpriced for what it was too.

Absolutely stunning grounds and surrounding areas. Will definitely be returning

We stayed in Poppy Cottage 27/12/25 (3days) for my husband’s 60th. we surprised my family who were staying inRobin Hood tent from Christmas Eve. The cottage was warm and spotless with a bath and shower and everything you need. We travelled to 2 castles, the beach went on walks and seen the animals on site. Theres shops nearby like homebargain and Aldi if you forget anything. The hot tub was ready and we lit the log fire it was magical. Lots more to do, We will be staying again. Thankyou x

Fantastic

We had a brilliant stay at Poppy Cottage. It was so cosy just the 2 of us and our dog. Secured outside space to leave the dog wonder. Hot tub was the icing of the cake! We got to see the animals, and have a private animal tour form one of the staff members and even got to feed the alpacas and the little piglets. Would definitely recommend. And can’t wait to return.

Beutiful

Really nice cottage, beutiful location, however I wouldnt say its for 4 people especially the sofa bed it's small and very uncomfortable, described as animals around you definitely not, heating doesn't work properly, sheets were dirty, found a cigarette in the sofa, floors were filthy, water logged as no door mat,key was in the door when arrived not key safe and was open, dead flies and insects behind tea pot and toaster ,but beutiful place just need few things sorting

4/10 Poor

Very disappointing and certainly not luxury. Dirty scuffed walls. Mattress and duvet stained.

Liked - The hot tub and shower in bathroom. Dog treats and cakes a nice touch. However, the microwave is rusty, the walls in lounge and bedroom scuffed and dirty. We stripped the bed on leaving and the mattress was covered in semen/urine. Blood on duvet. No protectors on anything. Appalling. We asked Toni to come and see and agreed with our disappointment. Still waiting on a reply to our complaint and request for partial refund as certainly not as advertisef and not worth the money paid.
