Without a doubt, the ocean view is easily the best feature of this property. Rooms were clean and spacious but are in need of some serious upgrade/painting! Area is not as advertised; Coral Turtle sells some of its features using the Silver Sands amenities that's across the way. Access to the beach is suspect. The road/street where house is located is horrible! No security. I did NOT feel safe during my stay. My idea of family-friendly is not to be where there's only 1 TV that does not work, wish-washy wi-fi, poor/no AC, faulty plumbing, and to be cozy with lizards and flying cockroaches in my living/sleeping quarters (not to mention ants that are customary to the tropics). We also had to deal with a host who catered to the owner (so much for the customer experience) and believed that when our van was not there, no one was in the house. My niece and daughter were w/o power on a day while the rest of us were out. It's incredible how the power returned soon after we got “home”. Seems the owners are not wanting to foot the ensuing utility bill, so the host has to come up with stories to keep the AC off - in a hot climate! Towards the end of our stay, the groundskeeper shut off the power to the entire house, citing faulty wires from the light post. We returned to a lighted house which meant someone entered (as was probably done previously while some of us were out) to reset/control what would/would not work. Some rooms had no light, no AC or both - a nightmare! Travelers beware!!
