Lovely, cozy place to stay with nice decor inside and out.
The hosts are very accommodating and even left some delicious chocolate brownies and milk.
The log burner keeps the place very warm and the heating is efficient too. We stayed last year and came back again. Will definitely stay again.

A lovely rural retreat.
A comfortable holiday home in a lovely rural location. It is well equipped, and the owner has put a lot of thought and attention into every detail.

Very peaceful and comfortable stay, with every convenience provided.
Rebecca had thought of everything to make our stay special, with so many lovely details.
We aparticularly appreciated the personalised welcome sign on the gate, the quirky book selection and the homemade chocolate brownie.
The Red Shed is in a beautiful setting, with wonderful lavender hedge. We even saw a Humming Bird Hawk Moth enjoying the Lavender blooms in the sunshine.
We hope to return again.

A delightful location to enjoy a quiet, relaxing break.
We liked everything about our stay in The Red Shed. After a warm welcome from Rebecca we were left to our own devices but Rebecca was always available if need be. The accommodation is quiet, peaceful and spotlessly clean and we couldn't fault a thing. It is perfectly located for exploring this part of Suffolk and we visited Ickworth, Nowton Park, Lackford Lakes, Wicken Fen, RSPB Lakenheath and, of course, Bury St Edmunds. All of those places were first class and highly recommended.

Comfortable, cottage like accommodation in lovely quiet village
Rebecca our host was so attentive and supplied lots of lovely touches like milk and cakes. The Red Shed looks delightful and has lots of unpainted, wooden vintage furniture. Lovely walk in shower and very comfortable bed. The wrap around garden is a joy with a beautiful lavender hedge, cottage garden flowers self seeded in the gravel paths and several seating areas for sun or shade. The birdsong is amazing. Very convenient for visiting Ely and Sutton Hoo.

Relaxing
The Red Shed is a lovely place to unwind. The plus is it is pet free and allows 2 people to stay in first class accommodation. Everything is catered for and was spotlessly clean. The property has a wrap around garden which enables you sit where you want, beautiful flower garden and peaceful and private. We had a lovely welcome from Rebecca and James and were nearby if needed. The property is situated in the countryside, but Bury St Edmunds is not far away and NT property.
