The room was tinier than I realized: kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and sitting area add up to about 10 m^2. But everything worked, everything was clean, and the neighborhood was convenient, with a small grocery across the street, many restaurants within a few blocks, and a subway stop three blocks away.
