Great well equipped apartment with parking and good communication from the host. All in all an ideal location to explore Brighton and the surrounding area.

Communication from the start was inconsistent - question about parking, promise to find the info and come back, nothing, chased and just given a no (which was incorrect), so I booked a space offsite at 50 which was not needed!After a long journey, a challenge to find the shop and then the apartment, and then understand the ins and outs of the parking/tickets.Automated message about pink tickets left, which replied to and asked a question, the same message again and then yet again a promise to find out and come back to me, nothing!No up to date info on the area and 3 year old ones not clearer out.The flat is tired and unloved and not very generously equipped for 4 (we were 2).No welcome package, 1 t-towel, one loo roll per bathroom, no where to put toiletries in the small shower, so everything had to be on the floor. Both bathrooms showed signs of wear/rust. Blind on the door to balcony in the living room broken and could only be up or down.As friends of 40 years, we are used to going away together, travelling from different parts of the country to meet up and have many experiences of rental apartments and cottages. This property was memorable, but for the wrong reasons.The location was great, with bus services that were outstanding. And real find was the onsite Italian restaurant, Bella Napoli.It wouldn't take too much take this apartment from basic to really nice and perhaps consideration for customer service would be worth thinking about too.
