O Resort Vila Verde, tem transporte, com hórários fixos, para Santa Maria. praia da Ponta Preta, e Espargos. Fica a cerca de 2.500 metros de Santa Maria, 600 metros da Praia da Ponta Preta e a 400 metros do Bikini Beach, o que, para quem gosta de caminhar, faz muito bem.

As I spent 1.5 month, before this place at the City Center in Sal, I was advised to book a place at Vila Verde, if I preferred a more silent place. Dealing with a diagnosed, sleep disorder, on the positive side; If you search for an (extremely!) quiet place? Do go here! With that, the host(s) really seemed to try and fix things, from leaking airco to basic items, which were missing (but mentioned!). It took me 15 shops, going back to exactly the city center, to provide myself with it (*from toiletpaper to shampoo). Áfter that, the hosts came up with (as told, double/"no longer needed?!") products, which I suggested "Simply change, the online advertisement for others?". I literally got 30(!) mosquito bites in the 3 first days -despite all sprays and many times I was replied with: "This ain't a hotel!" (If I'd kindly asked about a second(!) set of towels/one extra tea-towel for 28 days?) Thát, I would have to pay 20 for(!?) which as well was never mentioned. As "an exception" (but partly!) got. I am a person who cán make a difference in between my own problems (*for example, being unable to catch the limited shuttle-bus schedule which I didn't know about) bút, travelled the world (from S-Africa to Indonesia for long periods), I had never faced so many insects out- ánd indoor! Fastly (from the leaking roof, airco's & the 'uncovered' balcony (with a lot of rain), I constantly was texting "in behalf of new guests". Summary: Don't recommend the stay no. Hopefully things improve.

Balcony which will turn into a sandy mess, after every single time rain fell. Plus únsave(!) leaking roof/floor area, on top of the staircase!!
Extremely big, cockroaches up to falling in the staircase, due to them mainly being there. The lightning won't switch on immediately -Be aware therefore!
Ended up, several times, trying to clean spots and dirt.. Which, where up there, before I arrived! Up to the chewing gum next to the fridge; the kind host who took over contact, was just as surprised/kindly took it off, as I was!

Olá, querida Anne! Fiquei surpreendida com o seu comentário, negativo, sobre a sua hospedagem no meu apartamento, reservado com um super desconto. Acredite que a Leila, pessoa responsável pelo apartamento, fez todos os esforços, possíveis e imagináveis, para você se sentir bem no apartamento, ao ponto de ir consigo a Santa Maria, procurar uma bicicleta de aluguer. As suas constantes mensagens e solicitações, sempre feitas a horas impróprias, porque a Anne tinha problemas em dormir... De facto, o apartamento não é um hotel, mas está equipado com o essencial, cabendo ao hóspede providenciar depois as suas necessidades. O Vila Verde Resort, tem supermercado, restaurantes e carrinha de transporte. Na realidade, quem já esteve em África, sabe que há bichos e há mosquitos, por vezes quase impossível de resolver, embora Anne tivesse à sua disposição, no apartamento, um spray contra melgas e mosquitos... Sobre o ar condicionado pingar, foi contactado de imediato um técnico para a sua reparação. Avarias acontecem... Até o bônus de late check-out, tive a amabilidade de lhe dar, para não sair ao meio-dia, porque me disse precisar muito. Pelo que a Anne afirmou, chegou já com vários problemas, tanto de saúde como psicológicos. Isso não nos cabe a nós resolver. Por tudo isto, que para si não foi suficiente, prestamos e continuaremos a prestar o melhor serviço e atenção aos nossos hóspedes. Cumprimentos
