Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

Great Condo!!

We had another wonderful stay at Tidewater. I loved the layout of the condo, very roomy! The view is perfect and it was decorated very nicely! Can't wait to come back!

Christmas on the Beach with Family

We loved our stay at Tidewater. The rental was overlooking the beach and we had a fantastic view. This was a great vacation for me, husband, our children in separate rooms with their families. Wonderful memories. Shops, donuts, seafood, all nearby. Great Christmas at the Beach.

Had a great time. Perfect views of the beach. Pools were great and well kept.

Great location. Close to many great restaurants. Unit we stayed in was clean and well kept. it aerv d us very well. There were 4 if us and it would as the perfect size. Only thing hat could have been better is the washer dryer unit was a problem the dryer door would not stay shut all the time and had to be held in place with broom handle lol.

Location perfect but some issues

The size is perfect ,all things for kitchen awesome bathrooms we were happy with atmosphere spot on and location 🎯 master bed is very uncomfortable way to firm .Dryer took 4 hrs to dry 5 towles and the furniture is filthy

Overall we had an okay stay. The condo itself was ok. The view was nice and we never ran out of hot water. The only complaint we had were the beds were hard and not comfortable at all! The property was great besides the elevators. Be prepared to wait AT LEAST 15-20 minutes for an elevator. Overall we would be willing to try this property one more time but with another condo.

The condo was beautiful with a fabulous views! The security at the facility was very rude. We also had issues with the elevators. A 10-20+ minute wait time every time to use the elevator is excessive. When I spoke with security about the issue, I was told some tenants in the building have elevator keys and hold the door open for their personal use.

Worst condo ever

Don’t even know we’re to start. Checking into condo and having to wait 45 mins on elevator to take luggage and things to condo. The whole experience with elevator was insane having to wait 30-40 mins waiting on elevators to go beach and come back from beach and going to eat. There was no blankets and there was only 5 towels with 6 people. I sent message asking for blankets and they told me they would be there in 2 hours which would’ve been at 10pm which was Saturday night July 12th. Kids froze to death because of it. I went to friends to still some towels just to have enough to wash and dry off with. Absolutely ridiculous. Not to mention being lied too about blankets. I can’t believe y’all charge that much with the elevators that suck that bad and having to wait each and everyday with people cussing and packed inside elevators. Owners should be ashamed to charge that amount of money with the worst possible experience we ever had. Will never stay at tidewater again. Period

Terrible

Elevators weren’t working the entire time we were there. Condo was dirty, dishes were dirty, broken drawers in bathroom vanity. Will not stay at Tidewater again.

I would gladly pay for bellhop service!!

*check in at Tidewaters is a process. Park in the garage, walk across the street-via skywalk, stand in line, check in, get a cart or two for you stuff, leave your ID so you bring the cart back (great ideal, really!) walk back across the street- via skywalk, Get all your stuff on the cart, walk back across the skywalk back to the hotel, wait on the elevator, take your stuff into your room, the cart doesn’t fit thru the door so you have to bring stuff in a few items at a time, put your empty carts back on the elevator, take them back downstairs. To get your ID back. If you parked at the 15 minute check-in spot you have to go back across the skywalk and move your car, then you go back across the skywalk and deal with the elevators one last time before getting to your room and relaxing.

Perfect for our week vacay

The place was awesome, other than slow elevators which is understandable the condo was great! Had a few imperfections when we arrived but maintenance came out shortly after we called to resolve the problem. Definitely would come back!

Great stay

Our condo was very nice some of the cooking items could stand to be upgraded. Pans were hard to use without food sticking. The chest of drawers in the 2nd bedroom would not slide or close easily. Tidewater was very clean and all the personnel were very friendly. We would definitely stay at Tidewater again.

Condo was beautifully decorated, spacious and very clean!

Condo itself is 5 stars! It is very spacious and is tastefully decorated w/ a serene beachy feel. Tidewater resort is in a great location, directly on the beach and within walking distance to shopping and attractions. However, the indoor pool was a real disappointment...needs a lot of updating and just general care! We had unseasonably cool weather while we were there and would have liked to take advantage of the indoor pool, but besides being so poorly maintained it was so small it only took about 10 people to fill it!! The outdoor pools were nicer, but not heated. Elevators are also very slow and it was not a busy time of year either. Again, this unit was perfect, but the Tidewater Resort needs some updating. All in all, I would still consider staying here again because of the wonderful location and beautiful condo, next time though I would come when it’s warmer :)
