A perfect place to stay for a group of old friends who meet once a year for a short walking holiday. We explored Broadway which is on the doorstep, did a circular walk around Winchcombe and had a curry at the Queen’s!

Everything was inorder and communication was clear though someof our party struggled to find the barn and would have appreciated some signage... but what 3 words was accurate.

Lovely property, good communication. There is an additional pet fee which I didn’t see originally but sorted after discussion with host. Property is great, and a real treat to stay in.

This is a bit of a mixed review. The property itself is a lovely large house, with plenty of space for a group of 10 (we were 8 people, but 10 would have been ok). However, we found it was not particularly clean - there were a lot of hairs in several rooms and bathrooms, the freezer was filthy, there was rubbish in the garden, and a lot of dust/cobwebs. One of the floor rugs was soaking wet (the dust and cobwebs we would have been ok with, it's an old property). Bearing in mind I had paid over 200 cleaning fee on top of the nightly rate, I would have expected much better. The listing states that there is an arcade/games room, however this is stretching it -there are some old board games in a room, which was rather disappointing. Most concerning was that after leaving the property at 9.30 on the day we checked out, I was contacted around 5pm to tell me that there was blockage/damage to one of the toilets in the property, and an emergency plumbing fee of 283.50 was going to be withheld from my deposit. I challenged this, as I knew we had not caused such damage, and also wondered why it had taken so long to advise me of an issue. After a bit of back and forward, I asked for photos, a photo was sent, & I asked for the plumbers invoice which I did not get. The following day I was contacted by someone telling me that a mistake had been made, and the damage was from a previous guest, not us. I'm not sure how this sort of mistake could possibly be made - feels like a scam.

The Threshing Barn gets top marks in every way as a property.Pre-arrival info including exact location was comprehensive BUT it was sent to me only 24 hours before our party's departures from Switzerland, Sussex and Cambridgeshire. I had asked for info two or three times, weeks in advance. Exact directions were accurate and take you to a hidden lane tucked away behind 'Main Street’ and not visible on Google Street View.I had also asked if there would be a Xmas tree so the 8-year-old in our party could decorate it but that we would be happy to bring our own artificial tree if the owner couldn't provide one. We heard nothing except that the agent was waiting to hear from the owner. When we arrived there was a beautifully decorated Xmas tree in the lounge - lovely surprise but why not tell us?Another issue, for the owner and agent rather than for us, was that when we arrived there was no-one there to check us in but the barn was unlocked, so the key safe procedure wasn't needed. We would happily go there again so don't be put off by my nit-picking criticisms!

Freddie’s property was ideal for our family gathering. We had varying ages from 19 to 82 and one very happy dog with half an acre to roam in.The property was very well equipped for 10 people and lovely seating areas. Extremely well located for us personally as Evesham station was used by 3 of the family to Yorkshire and Oxford. The only comment I would make is that I was the only one with the Vrbo app and details of our stay, when we arrived there was no signal in the village so I couldn’t access the entry code. I had to go walkabouts and eventually found an EE hotspot, that was a very stressful time. Maybe a note to say write the code down for the reason stated. Altogether a lovely experience.
