The house was ideally situated for amenities in the town and was a perfect base for wider exploring. We visited as three generations including a young child and an infant. The property was well proportioned with plenty of living, sleeping and eating space. There was a well provided kitchen. We slept well. The house was comfortable and well kept.
Parking brilliant as everything within walking distance. Kitchen nice and spacious with everything you need.Rooms clean and nicely decorated. Games room in the garden.
great property for multi-age large family groups. Lots of space, big garden, big kitchen and different areas to be together in or find some peace if needed.Quiet house even though on main road into Bourton on the Water, and easy 10 minute walk to the river.
a nice welcome with the food on arrival ,made it very homely, ,nice size garden and BBq area with outside table and chairs ,only comment ,we needed a bit more light during the evening other wise lovely and clean , good parking for four cars everything we needed including easy access internet thankyou and good security,
We were family of 11 with ages from 6 weeks to 83 years old. The house was perfect for us with a very well- equipped kitchen including 3 fridges!. It was a lovely surprise to see a hamper with various treats. Some of which I took home as prizes for a Macmillan coffee morning in September.Excellent comms from the Property Manager also and ideal location as described meaning we didn’t have to drive into the centre.
Lovely house in a great location. The only big problem for me was that the bathrooms weren’t clean, black mold growing on seals and tile grout and even I onto the carpet. Easily rectified. The out door table with chairs is no longer there. Another bench/table has been added.
Very well equipped and spacious house. Photographs don’t do it justice as even better than it looks. Thoughtful welcome gifts. Easy flat walk into Bourton on the water
Absolutely beautiful house, environment, location and process. Easy to tidy and everything we needed. Host was excellent. OK, cotswolds recycling process was different to my 4 plastic bins, but we got there..
We four retired teachers thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this comfortable home. Its close proximity to town allowed us to walk everywhere! Plus the rental car was given a rest for a day or two! The bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. With two living rooms and a kitchen-dining space, we had plenty of room to cook, play cards, and relax. Communications with the management company as well as Michael, our host, went smoothly. If we someday return to the Cotswolds, this home will be our rental of choice.
We booked for a birthday getaway with family and had a great time! The welcome basket was a lovely touch and the size of the house is perfect for the amount of people we booked for.The location is perfect - out of the way but less than a 10 minute walk into the village. The only thing I’d change is the carpet in the bathrooms as they’re stained from getting wet and have a bit of a funny smell. We parked 4 cars on the drive comfortably but wouldn’t say you’d get 6 like mentioned in the listing.Would recommend staying here if you’re a big group wanting to stay in Bourton on the Water! Thank you Michael for having us

We parked 3 largish cars comfortably. Overall cleanliness was fine. Kitchen was very well equipped with more than enough china, cutlery & utensils. However it needed a bit of a "deep clean" - drawers and shelves etc. Recycling was a struggle but probably down to council providing more/bigger bins. Location is excellent with everything on doorstep
Nethercote, is a great house and location, for a family get together. We were from UK and Australia, everyone was comfortable and liked the house, and it's facilities very much.
