We had a beautiful stay here. It's the perfect trip for R&R and especially if you're a couple looking to switch off. We're planning to come back next year.

Wonderful welcome goodies, beautiful Christmas tree. Property had everything, shame it was as so wet as would have been nice to explore the beautiful surroundings.

Lovely property in secluded location yet great base to explore the area.Hot tub and outside furniture and space were great.Only issues were the midges which got in and we had to hoover up on two occasions need insect blinds really to allow you to open windows without flies getting into property. Kitchen could be better equipped.That said really enjoyed our stay and we enjoyed the property.

We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the location of Pond Lodge. Being on a lake and in the middle of the country side you will inevitably get some insects come and say 'hello'. However they are harmless and only around at certain times of the year. The kitchen is fully equipped for the basics plus some to allow you to prepare basic meals. However, there are 10 pubs, cafes and restaurants all within walking distance that you can also enjoy. We hope to see you again at some point in the future

We had a great time. Place was lovely. Such a beautiful place. Great having cooker, microwave, coffee machine as felt like home. Such a wonderful wood burner and views and hot tub great!! We arrived at 3.30pm and I think by 8/9pm we could get in the hot tub - as takes a while to heat up. Cleaning was good. Loved the fact that we had basics such as olive oil, salt and pepper, tea and coffee pods- and a little welcome bottle of drink in the fridge so so great. We got a deal on our two night stay so it was great value. Thank you! A great stay for a reset before going back to work.

I loved this place. Communication was excellent with the host. I did feel like they were quite a few bugs and spiders around the house inside in the windows. I know this isnโ€™t completely avoidable, but seemed like there couldโ€™ve been some spiderweb dusting that thatโ€™s my only feedback.
