This place is perfectly located just a five minute walk to the central area, old town. There are’s little shops, cafes, markets and restaurants within a few minutes from the property. The apartment gives you a glimpse into earlier days in Malta with beautiful antique furniture and a feeling mile you are a guest in someone’s house. There are no elevators so you must walk up 77 stars to get to the apartment . Massimo was quick to respond however we were very disappointed that the large dining area was closed off and we weren’t able to use it. We only found out when we got in touch with him to ask how to sccess it. He downplayed the importance of the room and no discount was offered. I would suggest asking if the room is available before booking as the last I looked at the site, it still does 3-4 photos of the room. Matera is a beautiful, magical place and the apartment adds to the experience. Overall it was a great experience.
