Despite the steep stairs up to the 2nd floor, this was a lovely little gem. Perfectly located in shambles area. Close to attractions and dining options.

Location and Comfort

Excellent location, everything is close by but if you're someone really sensitive to noises maybe it shouldn't be your first choice since it's the busiest street in town. Also if you have problems asseding steep stairs they're lots of them to reach the apartment. Everything was clean, the duvet super comfortable and the heating system was really good (in the living room the flooring is coming undone in some places). Overall a very enjoyable stay with great service and clear instructions.

It was clean, great amenities, great location (although if you are sleeping on the sofa bed it can be loud at night, to be expected for the location right on the shambles). Easy check in.

Heart of the Shambles, Holiday ready

We rented all 3 units for our Shambles visit and enjoyed our stay and it was great. Easy location, a few stairs to climb, but right in the action with easy walks to just about every sight and experience York has to offer.

Myself and my family with 2 young children stayed 4 nights. It was comfortable and had all the basics that we needed. I felt safe and quiet. They allowed us an early check-in. The location was absolutely fantastic and we could walk to everything. Thank you!
