I cannot speak highly enough about Canet de Mar and the Costa Maresme Vacances team. Our trip was absolutely wonderful and we will absolutely come back to stay here again. The location of the Canet de Mar house was just right. Close enough to Barcelona that we could make daily trips into the city, but far enough away to escape the touristy beaches and hustlebustle of the city. The little town square between the house and the beach was cute and quaint. The beach was fantastic, clean, and had crystal clear water. Our personal favorite was getting an ice cold coffee at Les Nenes right on the beach while our sons played in the waves and looked at fish, octopus, cuttlefish, etc.With a rental car, we were able to take day trips to see Montserrat, Sant Miguel del Fai, visit nearby rockier shores with even more fish, and of course visit the enigmatic Sagrada Familia Basilica. There is so so much to see in and around Barcelona, and we barely scratched the surface!Booking, financing, checking in/out, and communicating with the Costa Maresme team was smooth and reliable. They were immediately responsive via Whatsapp for questions, tips on where to go/what to do, gave clear instructions. I couldn't ask for better hosts. I highly recommend staying here. It was a dream trip for us. We will certainly return in the future. Cheers!
