Pet-friendly and such an enjoyable stay in the Cotswolds cottage. We had champagne in the garden and enjoyed ourselves immensely on our girls trip!

lovely stay in the Ringers cottages

Together with another couple, we had a lovely stay at Ringers Cottage. It is a great location for taking all kinds of day trips in the Cotswolds. Oxford and Bath are also easy to visit. The cottage is fully equipped with all modern conveniences, and there is a pub across the street where you can enjoy a good meal.

Lovely cottage in kingham

We had a fantastic stay - the cottage is lovely and clean. Loved the cosy lounge with log burner and the kitchen was well stocked. We would definitely stay again. The two pubs in Kingham are also both great. Only other feedback would be a proper mirror and a bin would be good in the top bathroom.

Lovely Weekend in Cotswold Village

We had an incredible weekend in Ringers Cottage. Walking distance from 2 incredible pubs and a short drive away from other lovely Cotswold Towns and Villages. Kevin was very helpful prior to our arrival

Cotswolds Perfection

We had the most perfect stay over Easter at Ringers Cottage. The cottage itself is well equipped, immaculately presented and very warm and cosy. The area is also excellently positioned due to is close proximity to Daylesford Farm, the Slaughters, Bourton-on-the-water and Chipping Norton. We enjoyed walks, took in nearby Chaselton House and gardens and the best part… a great pub directly opposite The Plough. There’s a village shop 150 meters along the street for anything you may need which is very well stocked. Overall it was exactly what we were looking for and are already planning our next visit. 10/10 would recommend

Beautiful character cottage in a gorgeous village

We had a lovely weekend in Ringers cottage. The cottage is full of character, clean and very well equipped. The village is pretty with a fantastic pub opposite the cottage and a lovely village green to the side. Another great pub at the other end of the street. Lots of nice walks and enclosed fields for the dog to run around in. Everyone was very friendly. Chipping Norton is 10/15 minutes away by car as is the Dylesford Farm shop and Garden Centre. Highly recommend for a Cotswolds stay.

Great location

The location of Ringers cottage was excellent & provided a great base. Dog friendly with a safe garden space & plenty of room for us all to enjoy outside. Very friendly neighbours who were happy to share local knowledge. Inside the cottage was bigger than expected, comfortable with a well equipped kitchen, but it was very hot on the upper floors. When the windows were open we found the road extremely noisy at all times throughout the night & early hours & all found it difficult to get much sleep. Overall though more plus’s than negatives.

Thank you Jackie for your review of Ringers Cottage. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the location of the Cottage and found it a great base for your stay. It is lovely to know the garden space was appreciated by both your group and your dog, and that you felt welcomed by the friendly neighbours. We are glad that you found the cottage spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. We are sorry you were uncomfortably warm at night on the upper floors. The UK was experiencing a heatwave during your stay and as with most older buildings, if the upper windows are left closed heat will rise to these floors. It is very unusual for Kingham to experience noise throughout the night. Indeed, a particular concern for the owners is that guests respect the peace and quiet normally enjoyed by neighbouring residents. We hope to welcome you back in the future.

Bank Holiday weekend in Kingham

In general Ringers Cottage was nice, comfortable and generally clean and had everything we needed. The shower head to the main first floor bathroom was super grungy and hadn't been cleaned in a long time. We were very disappointed with the garden, which was unloved, unkempt and full of weeds. The lawn hadn't been mowed and the bin store was very messy. It detracted from the stay generally as the weather was so wonderful and it wasn't a pleasure sitting in the garden. Certainly not to a standard we have found other properties included in Stay Cotswold's portfolio. On this occasion we didn't feel we received value for money.

Perfect cottage

We had a wonderful stay at Ringers Cottage. It’s a beautiful cottage in a beautiful village and a short drive from lots of great places in the Cotswolds. The local pub was lovely. The cottage facilities were amazing. Difficult to navigate the stairs, as very steep and the top floor beds only suit small children. Ours are 17 and 12 and struggled with the size of the twins. The owner is very accommodating and helpful and if we were coming back without the kids I’d have no hesitation booking the cottage again, it really was wonderful. Thank you.

Thank you Laura for your review of Ringers Cottage. We are delighted that you found the property to be beautiful, to have amazing facilities and in beautiful village location. As is often the case in a character period cottage, the staircase is indeed steep and winding. The top bedroom has a hotel style zip and link king size bed which can be split into two and set up as a twin. We hope you will be back to stay again soon!

Quirky Cottage in a lovely Cotswold Village

We really enjoyed our recent stay at Ringers Cottage in the lovely Cotswold village of Kingham. The location of the property was excellent for visiting many of the attractions in the area and easy to walk to the restaurants and shop in the village. A few observations regarding the property are - -There should be more crockery ie. cups, plates, bowls and cutlery especially for four adults. - There is no wardrobe or mirror in the bedroom in the roof space although space is limited due to the sloping roof. - The property was very clean and tidy, however the garden would look a bit more inviting if there was a few more plants and flowers instead of the empty plot which was a vegetable patch. Would certainly stay at this property again in the future.

“A nice cottage”

A nice cottage that could be a very nice cottage, the advertised image shown is the back of the property, the front is on quite a busy road and can be quite noisy. Whoever cleans and maintains the property need to up their game, windows dirty and between the double glazing dirty, torn seating in the kitchen. Stingy, 1 pint of milk and nothing else, a small bag of a scourer a j cloth and 3 dishwasher tablets. Numerous light bulbs blown throughout the house, some remote tv controls not working. Living room and bedrooms are nice however the bathrooms and furnishings would be in Del boys taste, out of keeping with a beautiful cottage. Black toilet? Mirrored shower? Despite this we had a nice time Kingham is ideally located for all nearby towns and villages. Bourton,Broadway,Stow ect.
