Renargata Apartments is ideally located in a great part of Reykjavík, within easy walking distance of the city center, museums, excellent bars and restaurants, and shopping. The apartment was very comfortable for our group of six adults and one toddler. We appreciated the thoughtful touches—ice and water in the fridge, plenty of towels, and a well-stocked kitchen that made it easy to prepare our own meals. I’m giving it four stars because the cleanliness wasn’t quite up to expectations, but it wasn’t a deal breaker for us.

I was discussed by this company Heimaleiga team. Before we left for our trip and before i booked i checked with host about the beds in this 4 bedroom apartment. I needed 2 beds with queens and 2 bedrooms with 2 twin beds. The host assured me that that was how the apt was set up so i went a head and booked. Also it had laundry room, which we needed because we had 6 men with 2 women. when we got to the house their was 3 bedrooms with queen beds and 1 room with twins and also their was no laundry room that we found. after seeing this i contacted the host. they explained to me that i was to meet someone at the apt to clear up issues. We did find the laundry room but is was outside down stairs. i did put in a load of laundry and then found out the dryer did not work. I explained that i was not going to seat around on my vacation for you to come fix the dryer and their was nothing they could do about the beds. they where going to send someone out for the dryer and i explained to them that NO ONE WAS TO ENTER THE APT. they said they understood. no one came to fix the dryer until 2 days into our vacation, he came at 9:00 at night and entered the house with out knocking! I told him to get out of the apt and i explained to the host that no one was to enter apt. they completely disrespected us and our privacy. It defiantly put a damper on our vacation and i did ask for a partial refund because they falsely advertised their apt. and that effected our trip. RENTER BEWARE!!!!
