Villa Dorothea - breezy sea views and tranquility among the pines of Kanapitsa



Nestled in the lush greenery of Kanapitsa, Villa Dorothea offers a serene and private retreat within a small distance from the sea. With two comfortable bedrooms, the villa accommodates up to four guests and is ideal for couples or small families seeking peace, privacy, and natural beauty. There is one bedroom with a kingsize double bed, and a bedroom with twin beds. Each bedroom has its own sliding doors to the terrace.

Bright and cozy, the villa breathes simplicity and bathes in natural light. The living room is connected with the terrace and makes living in- and outside very easy. From the terrace, guests can enjoy beautiful views of both the sea and the surrounding mountains.

The parking spot is at the bottom of the property in a dead end street, and stairs lead up to the property. By foot there is an even path which is easy to use for carrying luggage and shopping to the house.

The location is superb—just a short stroll to two of Skiathos' most charming beaches, Kanapitsa and Tzaneria. Essentials and leisure spots are conveniently close:

Disappointing Bathroom Let Down an Otherwise Enjoyable Stay

We have always had fabulous accommodation through Skiathos Houses, which is why this stay was particularly disappointing. Unfortunately, the accommodation itself, especially the bathroom, did not meet the high standard we have come to expect. The bathroom was not clean on arrival and there was a persistent, unpleasant smell coming from the shower drain throughout our stay. The odour was so strong that, even with the bathroom door closed, it could be smelled throughout the villa. As a result, we chose to use the outdoor shower whenever possible. The shower itself was old and in need of updating, and the bathroom would really benefit from a complete renovation. This was the only aspect of Villa Dorothea that significantly affected our holiday. We have always been very happy booking with Skiathos Houses and will certainly use them again. However, next time I will make sure to check that the bathroom facilities are in a much better condition before confirming our accommodation.
