Wonderful spot to unwind, gorgeous unmatched views, easy access just far enough from Prineville to give you nice dark skies at night, but still close to so much adventure! This is my 4th stay, and we will for sure be back.

This place is such a gem. The views are breathtakingly stunning from all angles. What amazed me the most was the silence, there was something magical about being so secluded while gazing for miles at so much natural beauty. The cabin was clean and so well stocked, everything I needed was right there. It felt very intuitive, almost like it was my own home. My daughter loved the hammock, swing, and hot tub. We had a lot of fun exploring the property. We felt very lucky that the hosts generously provided this space for us and we definitely hope to come back.

Stayed for our 24th anniversary and we loved every bit of it.From the star gazing at night to the sunrises and sunsets to the beautiful views all around and the hot tub a big plus.We got to see Tumalo falls,Painted hills,and we went shopping in bend.It was a wonderful and relaxing trip.

Third time to this amazing property! They’ve even added a big screen TV this year! Great and helpful communication, well outfitted, and very fair price for this home. A view like no other, pics almost can’t do it justice!

Paradise on the Prineville Reservoir

We loved Pete's cabin! The house is just adorable and has everything you could want. We especially enjoyed the solitude and the fantastic views. This is definately the best place we have ever stayed and we plan to come back again.

Beautiful private getaway

Came here for an anniversary getaway trip and was perfect! Rustic cabin and very private setting with gorgeous views! We spent alot of time on the front porch that has gorgeous views every time of the day. Great fire pit for bonfires and so peaceful and quiet

Most Beautiful view

The view is so spectacular you will never want to leave, the most peaceful and beautiful place i have ever stayed, wish i would have stayed more than 3 nights. Hot tub, fireplace and breathtaking views what more can you ask for?

Unbeatable view, excellent condition and amenities!

My fiancé, friends and I stayed at this home for an extended weekend and it was simply wonderful! The view was unbeatable, hot tub hot the spot, and the amenities in the kitchen and pool table/darts board were awesome! Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here looking for a quiet and nature-filled retreat. It was a bit far from the closest town (Prineville, OR), but we loved that it was more isolated and on its own piece of land.

The land, the skies, and the sweeping views are absolutely to die for. The cabin is exceptionally well equipped to complement your outdoor adventures, while also offering a comfortable, fun-filled interior. Whether you’re relaxing and gazing out the windows at the stunning scenery, playing games, shooting pool or darts, or cozying up by the fire, this cabin has it all.This was our second visit, and we only wish we had the freedom to return more often. The property manager, Lorrie, is truly one of the most amazing humans—she represents the wonderful people of Prineville so well. We owe her immense gratitude for turning a horrible mishap on our part into a survivable life event.Thank you to Lorrie and to the current owners for allowing our friends—and our pups—to enjoy this beautiful space and land.

What a Gift!

Pete's Cabin is amazing! We so enjoyed the quiet beauty and the amazing scent of Juniper in the air! (So many Juniper tree's!) We also got a HUGE rainbow across the sky while we enjoyed the hot tub. This place is incredible.

Simply Magical

This was our 3rd year at Pete’s Cabin! We had it all--deer, coyotes, lizards, snow, windstorms, and sunny skies. This home has become a special place for my family to find peace after a stressful year. Thank you for sharing this magical place with us!
