The famous Whalers Village is only a short walk where you'll find most of the more popular restaurants and hangouts, not to mention the incredible variety of some of the best boutique shopping on Maui. With the world famous Black Rock within walking distance for world class snorkeling, and surf/paddle board rentals along the walkway, Kaanapali Alii is perfectly located for your next vacation!

On our lushly landscaped grounds you will find heated free-form swimming pools, whirlpool spas, children’s wading pool, quiet adult pool and ocean side entertainment pavilion with gas grills and flat screen televisions. Other amenities include complimentary tennis on three lighted courts; on-site tennis pro; complimentary access to the Alii Athletic Club; yoga on the beach; Alii Kids Club program (seasonal); beach activities center.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! The view from the 11th floor was spectacular; seeing the morning paddleboarders and boats on the ocean was so peaceful and calming. The condo had plenty of towels, comfortable beds, and well stocked bathroom and laundry room amenities. We really appreciated that the kitchen included appliances like a rice maker and plenty of tableware.

The view was amazing. The space great for families. Place was clean. TV’s didn’t work. Repairman came but didn’t speak English. Never fixed them. Not enough cooking utensils and the ones provided were old. Not enough plastic cups to take to the pool or out on the patio. Half a roll of paper towels and none extra. It would have been fine except we had another unit in the same complex that had so much extra including ice chests, chairs, beach umbrella and boogie boards. Not to mention lots of plates, silverware, plastic dishes that we didn’t have to run the dishwasher all the time. If we rebook, we would go with the other unit.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re so glad to hear you enjoyed the breathtaking ocean views, found the condo clean, and felt it was a great space for families. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with the TVs during your stay. We were having trouble with the wifi signal to that condo, specifically the bedrooms. After multiple appointments with our cable service we are happy to share that they replaced the cable lines running to our unit on the 11th floor and wifi and TVs are now working properly. We also appreciate your comments regarding kitchen supplies. Based on your feedback, we have restocked and updated the kitchen to better serve future guests. Regarding beach equipment and accessories, these are not items we advertise to provide. Guests often leave behind beach items in good condition and our housekeeping team is happy to leave those for future guests to enjoy. Because these items come and go, availability can vary from stay to stay. Thank you again for your valuable feedback. We truly appreciate it as it helps us continue improving the guest experience.

This was our family’s second time coming out to Maui and upon doing the initial research and seeing this listing was open again, it was an instant booking and a no brainer. Katie is extremely helpful and quick to respond when needed. Their residence is perfect for families and has an amazing view plus is only steps away from everything you need for a family trip to Maui. Their residence is located in the perfect spot to allow visitors to do as much as they want or as little as they want, with all the amenities steps away. This was our second trip using Katie’s home but it will always be the first stop we look at when we come back to Maui again

The View

We booked this property to stay in before and after our son’s wedding in Maui. The apartment had everything you needed - was so spacious. The highlight was the wonderful sunset views from the lanai! ( oh and the shower pressure was so good too!)
