We had to pay an extra charge for checking in after 8:00 pm because our train was over an hour late. The unit had an air conditioner but we were unable to use it because there was no remote for it. The loft area where you sleep gets very warm and it would have been nice to have the AC. They told us that there is a law about turning on the AC in Italy before a certain time. Paint on the stairs was chipping away and the whole unit and the hallway had a very musty smell.
