Spanning two levels on the first and second floors, the villa perfectly captures the retro elegance of its solid-wood furnishings, with a clear nod to the 1960s and 1970s. A very spacious and bright living room with a fireplace, a sitting area, and a dining area welcomes guests. The kitchen features a gas stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, pots, glasses, plates, and silverware; a small single bedroom with an en suite bathroom featuring a shower; a central bathroom; a cosy patio equipped for al fresco dining surrounded by greenery; and a furnished gazebo complete the amenities on the ground floor, which is connected to the upper floor by a majestic internal wooden staircase. The large windows let in sunlight all day long, offering a splendid view of the lush garden with a gazebo that surrounds the villa. On the upper floor are the bedrooms, including a double bedroom with a French-style bed and a charming canopy, a balcony, and an en-suite bathroom with a window and shower; another double bedroom with a terrace and an en-suite bathroom with a window and shower; and a third double bedroom with a window, as well as an additional central bathroom with two windows and a bathtub. Bedding, towels, and kitchen linens are included.

Villa La Luna di Carta is located in Ischia Porto, just off the central Piazza degli Eroi, where the famous Bar Calise is also found. It is a 15-minute walk from the port of Ischia, or a 5-minute drive by car or bus—the bus stop is located across from the hydrofoil and ferry terminal—or by taxi, which can take you right to the entrance gate.
Villa La Luna di Carta’s location is ideal for walking to all of the points of interest in the municipality of Ischia, including the historic centre of Ischia Ponte, 800 m away, with its world-famous Aragonese Castle. Everything is within easy reach: even the beaches are about a 10-minute walk away and can also be reached by car or scooter, but only during certain hours, as a restricted traffic zone (ZTL) is in effect at other times. But the walk leading to the sea is so pleasant—with its lush pine forests, tree-lined avenues, and amenities to suit every need—that it invites guests to take it on foot. In addition to the beaches of Ischia Porto, the island offers a myriad of beaches in all its municipalities, as well as wonderful thermal parks—a must-visit destination for days filled with relaxation, wellness, and enchanting natural views.
All the other municipalities on Ischia are also well connected: some destinations can be reached directly from the Piazza degli Eroi stop, while for others, simply head to the Ischia Porto terminal, where all the island’s bus routes depart. Ticket outlets are scattered everywhere in newsstands, tobacco shops, and bars. By renting a car or a scooter—the entire surrounding area offers parking spaces marked with white and blue lines—or an e-bike, you can also enjoy maximum freedom of movement.
