Villa Macaw is a gorgeous villa nestled within the primary forest, with three bedrooms and a private pool, as well as beautifully landscaped gardens to gather with friends or enjoy solitude. The location is ideal for retreats, multifamily gatherings, or friends traveling together.



It is located within the Gandoca-Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge in Punta Uva on the Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica. The house is 1 km from the turquoise-colored waters of the Caribbean Sea where you can enjoy beautiful virgin beaches, snorkeling over the coral reefs, kayaking, wildlife hikes, horseback riding, and just plainly relaxing.



Designed as a family residence for families and groups, the villa comes fully equipped and can comfortably sleep up to 10 people in 3 separate private bedrooms. All bedrooms come fully furnished with linens and pillows, beach and bathroom towels, closets and clothing hangers, ceiling fans, a working desk, bedside tables, lamps, and comforters for cool nights.



You will enjoy the well-equipped kitchen with high-end appliances offered, with our professional chef gas stove/oven on the kitchen island, cooking and serving dishes, and utensils, with an abundance of counter space to prep your meals with the amazing ocean views. The large open spaces have dining capacity for 10 or more upon request, comfortable cushioned seating areas with a smart TV connected with a Chromecast and high-speed fiber optic internet, with a full-on view of the gardens, swimming pool, and ocean.



Villa Macaw brings you an abundance of wildlife every day. You are assured to see dozens of toucans, parrots, and macaws every day in addition to several kinds of monkeys, sloths, colorful frogs, morpho butterflies, hummingbirds, countless varieties of birds, and all kinds of exotic insects.



The property is located up a steep paved hill, but any type of vehicle should be able to make it up with no problem. It is private and completely secure, with security cameras and a closed electric gate at the entrance.



Daily regular cleaning is included from Monday to Saturday, with towel changes every two days, and sheets once a week. If you wish to have some laundry done, your cleaning lady will be happy to assist you with this. Breakfast may also be arranged ahead of time.



It is very important to note that we have a few loving cats, so if you are allergic, this may not be the place for you. They are not allowed in the bedrooms but do spend their days in the main house. They will be fed by our loyal employees.
