Lovely owners who were pleasant to chat to but left us to enjoy our break without imposing. The property was really clean and tidy. The views and the wildlife were great. A little bit of a trek to find places to go as we weren’t wanting to walk much and there had just been a big storm. But Loch Ness is not too far and is stunning. Would definitely stay at this property again

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cottage. Everything was perfect from start to finish, and honestly, it’s hard to imagine how it could have been any better.The cottage was spotless, beautifully maintained, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. It was incredibly comfortable, cozy, and felt like a true home away from home. The location was fantastic, offering both peace and convenience, and the surroundings were simply beautiful.The hosts clearly put a lot of care and attention into every detail, which made our stay even more special. Communication was excellent, and we felt genuinely welcomed throughout our visit.We have stayed in many holiday accommodations over the years, and this was easily one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. We would not hesitate to return and would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a perfect getaway.Thank you for such a memorable stay!

Host and place were really nice, and accommodating of our request for bedding etc to be washed without softener. Also a big positive apart from the lovely location was the host letting us know we could check in almost an hour early. Very helpful! Some reasons for our rating not being 5: Appreciate the peaceful location can’t be ever guaranteed but we booked to avoid fireworks and expressly confirmed if there were usually any beforehand. It was a shame quite a few could be heard, and feels worthwhile sharing for anyone else going for that reason Despite signs to have dogs always on a lead I had one nosing around near our front door without any sign of a person. Not ideal as the garden areas aren’t fully enclosed so we had to be extra careful with our small dog and her health issues to avoid any encounters We had to search for the TV remote and although the host was lovely about it, how much cleaning is expected of guests checking out might be contributing to issues like this The heating was ok, although underfloor isn’t for everyone, it could’ve been worse. Big downside was some evenings the temperature dropped as low as 17 degrees, which for us was just a bit too cold
