About this property
Hiker’s Haven - Steps from Chautauqua Park & Trails
Enjoy a bright, private upstairs apartment in our 1904 home—just 2 blocks from Chautauqua Park and a 10-minute walk to campus. The space includes a separate entrance, queen bed, full bath, and a well-equipped kitchenette (microwave and mini-fridge—no stove).
PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING:
This is a quiet, respectful home shared with your hosts, who live directly below the apartment. We welcome travelers, visiting parents, business professionals, and outdoor enthusiasts—but if you're looking for a party pad, social hub, or romantic escape, this isn’t it.
BOOKING PROCESS:
We’re not on Instant Book—please send an inquiry first. This helps ensure a good fit before confirming. We love hosting respectful, low-impact guests and are happy to answer any questions you have.
We greet all guests in person between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m. If you're looking for a fully hands-off or high-traffic space, this likely isn’t the right fit.
No visitors are allowed on the property beyond the reservation. If you're coming to visit a CU student (for move-in, Parents Weekend, or any other reason), all time with them must take place off-site. We've had guests treat our property like their own private dorm extension.
Quiet hours are 24/7. That includes music, loud voices, and—yes—overly expressive celebrations. Please respect the shared nature of the home and the fact that others live here.
Absolutely no food in bed/bedroom. You’re staying in a clean, well-kept space with white linens and a memory foam mattress. Pizza grease and bed linens do not mix. Please use the large kitchen provided for eating.
Regarding parking (you’ll park on-street about 150 ft away).
No third-party bookings, no smoking, vaping, or pets/animals.
Max stay is 14 days.

About the host
Hosted by Kaleo & Jim

We love sharing what makes Boulder such a great place to visit — especially the endless hiking, biking, and outdoor activities right outside the door. If you'd like recommendations during your stay, we're always happy to point you toward local favorites for trails, dining, or sightseeing.
Why they chose this property
We chose this neighborhood because it captures everything we love about Boulder. Uni Hill is one of the oldest and most character-filled areas in town — every home is unique, the streets are quiet and walkable, and there’s a real sense of community.
We can walk to Chautauqua Park in minutes for morning hikes, grab coffee near campus, or be downtown on Pearl Street in no time. It’s peaceful, safe, and perfectly situated — close to everything, but never crowded or noisy. Living here truly gives you that classic Boulder experience.

What makes this property unique
What makes our property unique is the combination of location and character. The home was built in 1904 and sits in one of Boulder's classic historic neighborhoods — quiet, safe, and full of charm. Guests stay in the private upstairs apartment, which has its own entrance and feels like a peaceful retreat.
You can walk or bike just about anywhere — Chautauqua Park, CU’s campus, local coffee shops, and restaurants are all close by. The fully fenced property adds an extra sense of privacy and makes the space feel tucked away, even while being close to everything.
