A wonderful week of relaxing in a lovely home in a beautiful setting away from tbe crowds. A great place for children, our grandies had a great time swimming. Water shoes are a necessity.
Stayed 5 nights and had a great time. It was a family getaway with us, our 2 grown daughters and their partners. We all had a great time. The setting was gorgeous and we were close to the beach. A well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Would love to visit again.
Despite less than stellar weather, we had a great stay. The place was spacious, clean, quiet, great view, brand new hot tub. Location was perfect for us as it is within close proximity to some hikes and walks and a short drive into Sechelt. Property owner (Chris) was great. We had some billing issues with VRBO and Chris was very helpful and patient through it all.
The setting was beautiful. We had all we needed (dishes, glasses, cooking supplies, toiletries) Beds comfy!
On the rainy day we had a message therapist come on location.Awesome!!

Lovely view with a "Kitchen Surprise"
We enjoyed a lovely family vacation in this spacious accommodation. Even though it was a rainy visit, we were comfortable in this house and thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. We found the kitchen to be very well stocked with dishes, condiments and pots and pans. Our surprise was that it did not have a stove. Our family enjoys cooking while on vacation and I would not have chosen this place if I had realized it did not include a stove. Reading back through the VRBO listing I noticed that it said "Dished, cutlery, pots, pans, utensils, hot plates and toaster ovens provided for cooking" . I guess my assumption was that these items were in addition to a stove.
We spent a few nights before Christmas staying on the top floor of the main house. It was spacious, clean and nicely decorated for Christmas. Even though the owners live downstairs it felt very private. Jenn was available to help with any questions we had. The hot tub was very clean and has a gorgeous view of the ocean. The property is right on the ocean with a nice beach to explore. We had a wonderful time and will definitely go back!
My daughters and I stayed for two days while attending a memorial for my husband. The setting was gorgeous although the fain kept us from wandering down to the beach area.
The house was well set up for larger groups. I would highly recommend staying here.
I almost didn’t want to write a comment because don’t want people to know about this gem!
We stayed for 3 nights and wished we booked for longer.
So quiet and relaxing, the ocean was beautiful. I loved that the tide didn’t go out far, so most of the day I could hear the sound of the waves.
Kids had a ton of fun on the beach. Lots of outdoor toys and games to play. Would definitely come back.
We rented the larger home on this property for the first week of Spring Break with the intention of having a space for my husband to continue to work, a beach for myself and the kids to play at, and something with reasonable accessibility for my mom who has mobility issues. We found it met our needs nicely: I could even allow the kids to play out on the beach without me and watch them from a balcony or window. Watching the sea birds, collecting seashells, exploring the long rocky beach, and coming back to a hot tub was a treat. The kitchen served us very well (just needed cooking oil), and the new large toaster oven was very deluxe: we even tried out the air fryer successfully! The only hiccup was the fridge which was so cold it froze our milk and all our produce on its warmest setting.
The shower in the master bedroom is massive and beautiful- a real knock out! Internet was spotty at times although Chris was quick to help. I rigged my laptop to the tv in order to bypass the Apple TV which was overly complicated to set up, but it all worked out. The trip was great and one to remember. Definitely worth checking out! Thanks for your hospitality, Chris!
Family and friends get together with everything you need at your door step. Clean beach, fun badminton and games, hot tub, bonfire at the beach, and cozy house with a beautiful view from the deck. A perfect package!
We had a great time at this property and loved how it was steps to the beach. Chris was very friendly at check-in and quick to respond to any questions we had.
Great location. Kids loved the shoreline and starfish and swimming. Easy to get to the trails.

Nice place broken bbqs
The property was nice. The house was nice. The kitchen was lacking in not having a oven/stove. There was a hot plate/toaster oven and a few burners. I was told there were 2 BBQ'S to use unfortunately neither one worked. It was hard to cook for the group of 6 with limited cooking amenities. We brought foods to BBQ so it was disappointing to not be able to do so. It's a very shared property so if your looking for privacy and not a lot of people around this isn't the place to book. We didn't know how communal this place actually was.

Fantastic rental for a relaxing family vacation
We spent a week at Halfmoon haven and had a fantastic time! The views from the deck were amazing and the suite was fully stocked with everything we needed for linens and kitchen wears. At low tide, we loved playing on the sandbar and planned our time on the beach around the tide schedule. Everything was clean including the hot tub and outside common areas. The property manager was very responsive to texts, calls, and e-mails and was always very friendly and helpful. Overall I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a relaxing week on the water.

Beautiful views, some quirks
A group of 5 of us stayed here for the weekend. It is in a lovely spot and has great water views.
There was a small hiccup in booking as we wanted to book the stand alone unit and not a suite. It wasn't entirely clear what we ended up booking so we messaged to clarify and no one ever got back to us to confirm. We decided we didn't care which one we actually booked and so we just left it but we would have appreciated receiving a response.
The property is advertised as having a "fully equipped kitchen". As we were five adults who were in town to run a race, we grocery shopped and planned pre and post-race meals with this in mind. When we arrived we discovered that it was not a fully equipped kitchen as there was no stove/oven. It made cooking a bit difficult with only hot plates and toaster ovens. Again, it turned out fine, but the posting should probably not say that there is a fully equipped kitchen when there is not.
There were a few other minor things - neither of the lamps in the second bedroom worked, we discovered in the morning that all of the sliding doors apparently were unlocked from when we checked in, etc. but all in all it worked for us for the weekend.
We did really appreciate that when we asked for kindling to start a fire as it was a chilly weekend it was dropped off right away. We were also given a refund for an additional person we had paid for but had to cancel at the last minute.
