This was a nice a place to stay, it was peaceful and secluded. There was no other houses around which was really nice. There ’s a restaurant right up the road that was good and Cheyenne was just a short drive. I would definitely recommend this place.
We had a great stay at this VRBO! The location and property were fantastic, set in a beautiful rural setting with cows and horses. The house was comfortable and welcoming, and we loved the overall experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful and scenic getaway. We look forward to coming back!
Our son got married just a few miles away so it was a perfect location for us. I liked the fact there was room for kids to run and each room had its own bathroom.
The stay in the house was very nice, the interior was very clean and there was plenty of space. The photos are all accurate. The proximity to Terry's Bison Ranch is also nice. The only thing we didn't like was the proximity to the interstate, which you can hear a lot. Otherwise it was very nice.
Nothing but open land and the opportunity to walk for miles in the fields. The buffalo farm up the road and watching the prairie dogs was a treat. This home offers everything you need and is very comfortable. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
The lock and house were not reset to our code so we had to sit and wait for information to get in. We finally were able to use the ranch code, but that lock was very tough to get open at times, especially when it was pouring down rain.
This large log house is perfect for family getaways. The floor plan is such that if you have teens that want/need to get away from the adult banter, it's easily done. The house is well equipped, but whether coming from the north or the south, you definitely want to stop in Cheyenne, of Fort Collins and get ALL your provisions. Those towns are the nearest services, as Carr is basically a ghost town. Cheyenne is 20mins, Ft Collins is 35min from the house. If you're looking to get away from it all, this is the place for you. Only cows, horses and deer for neighbors. It is close enough for traffic noise from the freeway to be heard, but only when outside. House was clean, beds were comfortable and everything worked. Owner was responsive to any questions. Because of it's location, it's not a place for everyone, but if you want to get away and have solitude, this will do very nicely. My family enjoyed our stay, and the vote was to return at some time.
Our family chose this property as an ideal location between Cheyenne & Fort Collins for our daughter’s wedding week. The home decor has a nice western flair and the common space was ideal for everyone to be able to visit without feeling crowded. The home was well-supplied with essentials.
It is a rural property which we wanted. Just beware of surroundings, especially when weather is warm. Unfortunately our stay happened to be during the extended time of Miller moth migration, a rare, limited time period for this area. The owner and property manager were proactive in addressing the situation and did all they could to mitigate this nuisance. This the only reason I didn’t leave all 5 stars-the curtains had evidence of moth excretion and we had to deal with them at night.
Overall, it’s a great property I would recommend any other time of the year.
Absolutely loved the house and location. Out of the way but close to anything you need. Quite beautiful landscape. Would stay again in a heartbeat. With 6 adults and one infant, there was plenty of room and very comfortable beds.
Such a unique place! Quiet, well equipped, well decorated, beautiful and peaceful surroundings. We were very comfortable and would stay here again if/when we're back in the area!
My friends and I had a great time here! It’s private with plenty of space for a group. We particularly loved seeing the bulls and horses in the neighboring pastures each day!
Plenty of room inside and secluded outside. No neighbors yet close to Cheyenne and Wellington. Nicely decorated and equipped. Accurate description. Would recommend.
I surprised my husband with a small gathering of family/friends for his “50th” Birthday. Our group included 3 couples. This home was perfect! 3 spacious bedrooms with private bathrooms. Huge kitchen/dining/living area. We made great use of the outdoor patio and fire pit. Our host gave us a great recommendation for dinner one night. The property manager was helpful when an alarm went off and we couldn’t find where it was coming from. Antelope are in your backyard. A bison ranch is just 1/2 mile west, and you are minutes from Cheyenne. Very clean, spacious, comfortable, and secluded. A little road noise when outside would be the only drawback, but still a perfect stay! Highly recommend!!! The homeowner has done a great job including rustic cabin details and gorgeous furniture. The beds were exceptionally comfortable too. We had the best trip!!
Wow, where can I start? The home is large, super clean, and impressive. Large master bedroom, the other rooms are nice too. Kitchen is well furnished, and bathrooms roomie and very clean. The beds are very comfortable.
There was some wild life around such as deer and cottontail bunnies. Inside the home, could not hear the near-by Interstate traffic. We really enjoyed our stay. Wished we could have stuck around the house a little longer, but we had a list of sightseeing activities.
We believe that whoever rents this vacation home will not be disappointed.
I’m a 5th‑generation rancher, a longtime 4‑H leader, and a proud sports fan who loves cheering on some pretty awesome middle and high school volleyball, basketball, and track kids. I’m also a National Junior Angus show mom and competitor, so cattle and country life are a big part of who I am.
My faith and family are at the center of everything I do. I love Jesus, wide‑open spaces, a good latte, and a great chat with friends on the porch. I want guests to feel truly welcomed, cared for, and comfortable, like you’re staying at a friend’s place in the country.
If you have questions before or during your stay, I’m easy to reach and happy to help.
Why they chose this property
Crystal Springs Ranch House sits in the middle of classic wide‑open ranch country, where you can see for miles in every direction. Rolling pastures stretch out around the home, dotted with grazing cattle and horses, and framed by big Colorado skies. Sunsets here are truly breathtaking, fiery colors across the horizon, and at night the stars feel close enough to touch.
The neighborhood is peaceful and rural, with the relaxing sounds of wind in the grass, the occasional lowing of cattle, and quiet evenings around the fire pit. You’re close enough to I‑25 to get anywhere easily, but far enough out to feel like you’ve escaped the noise and rush of town. One of the things I enjoy most about this area is that it gives you true country quiet and space, while still being just a short drive from Cheyenne, Wellington/Fort Collins for dining and activities.
