About this property
Great multi-generational! Family/Pet-2 Kings,Lg Loft, Pool Tbl/P pong/Air Hockey
We always take pride in the cleanliness of our home but during this time of uncertainty we are going the extra mile to make sure our guests have a safe as well as enjoyable stay. I’m happy to discuss the added measures we are implementing to ensure this. Very sincerely, Diana
The lake...at 371 acres is one of the 9 largest lakes in the region. During the winter it is used to connect a vast network of state maintained snowmobile trails. Access to hundreds of miles of trails right from the property. In the summer it supports “a boat load” of water sports including water skiing, tubing, fishing, etc. We have a private sandy beach perfect for swimming, playing, lounging.
The house...Attention to DETAIL and designed for a work/stress free vacation. Floor plan is perfect for multiple families of all generational configurations. We've thought about how to keep everyone entertained with lots of fun activities and games. Including a pool table, air hockey table, ping pong table, kayaks, library of books for various ages, a bucket full of beach toys, hula hoops, a few bikes of various sizes with helmets and more.
You won't be disappointed with the VIEW of Lake Kanasatka and Red Hill from the large picture window in the central common living area which opens to the LARGE DECK or from the TWO EQUALLY COMFORTABLE MASTER BDRMS each with a KING BED, TV and attached bath.
The LOFT is a kids dream. With great SECRET hiding spaces. There are three areas with a total of 6 twin beds and plenty of room for play. For the real little ones we've supplied a pack and play, high chair, and gates for helping to keep them safe.
The walkout lower level has 3 unique areas. One includes a pool table with an optional ping pong table conversion top, electronic dart board, two high top tables, a couch and a cabinet filled with games. The second has a 7' Air Hockey table, WOOD STOVE, full futon and outside access and the third can be used as a bedroom with full futon, couch, recliner, large screen TV and it's own outdoor access.
We've even built in a super comfy place for your PET. With an extra large crate, food/water dish, toys and healthy treats.
Everything is very organized and user friendly with lots of hooks, shelves, and well labeled so you don't spend time searching for things or trying to figure out which switch goes to what light.
The property...ENJOYMENT DURING ALL SEASONS was a prerequisite when we were looking for our lakeside home. The property itself is over 2 acres. We are conservationists and have tried to be thoughtful about balancing our areas of use with areas of unadulterated nature.
During the SUMMER you can lounge at our private BEACH or in one of our two HAMMOCKS, fish from the DOCK, enjoy one of two CAMPFIRE areas or paddle around in our canoe, row boat or one of our four KAYAKS.
AUTUMN brings nothing short of a spectacular view of the BRILLIANT FOLIAGE on Red Hill which also offers a variety of moderate hiking trails. At the summit you can enjoy miles of 360° views of the lakes region including the Ossipee range, Lake Winnipesaukee, the Belknap range from Mt. Major to Gunstock, Monadnock, Mt. Sunapee, and the Squam range.
If SNOW is on the ground take a jaunt on the hundreds of miles of state maintained SNOWMOBILE trails that can be DIRECTLY ACCESSED from the property or if skiing/snowboarding is your thing no need to travel far. There are NINE SKI LOCATIONS within a 50 mile radius including, Gunstock (19 mi), Ragged Mtn (32 mi), Waterville (33 mi), King Pine (35 mi), Cranmore (37 mi), Loon (40 mi), Jackson (45 mi), Attitash (46 mi) and Cannon (50 mi).
NATURE is abundant and the small stream running through the property comes alive in the SPRING. You can hear the LOON calls echo over the lake as mating pairs come together. The sound is something to hear, I describe it as prehistoric which only adds the ENCHANTED feel of moss/fern covered forest floor canopied by the massive hardwoods (one of which is more than 10' in diameter) surrounding the house.
The location...There are boundless ACTIVITIES/ATTRACTIONS within minutes. From the QUAINT New Engand Village of Meredith Bay and Center Harbor to the RETRO charm of DOWNTOWN LACONIA and Weirs beach there's something for everyone in all kinds of weather. Some favorite spots include, Funspot (worlds largest arcade), Weirs Drive in movie theater, Squam Science Center, and the Polar Caves
We love to DINE OUT and appreciate quality food and a great atmosphere. Again, no disappointment. There are a multitude of great RESTAURANT choices. From French toast with real maple syrup at the Village Kitchen to the caramelized onion, spinach quiche at the Cup and Crumb and Haddock Jonathan at The Bob House to Roast Prime Rib at the Lakeside Grill or take out pizza from Pat's or Chinese from Lee Wah's (both within a mile from the house).
Us....My husband and I have put our hearts (and backs) into making this the ultimate place for a stress free, enjoyable and safe vacation for all our guests regardless of age. We hope to have an opportunity to show you what we consider the perfect vacation home in the perfect vacation spot. Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions. I enjoy this role and will do my best to respond quickly and accurately.
Sincerely,
Diana

About the host
Hosted by Diana LeFrancois

Were a hardworking family with integrity. We have put our hearts and souls into making this the perfect vacation rental geared toward families and pet lovers. We appreciate nature in it's unadulterated form and value the need for conservation.
Why they chose this property
Fell in love with the large wooded lot and the small stream running through it. It truly is a canopy of hardwoods with a mossy carpet. Would take hundreds of years to create this effect. It's breath taking. Wanted a place that would be suited for our multigenerational family.
