Lovely quiet gîte with a warm welcome

We had a lovely week in Châteauneuf-de-Gadagne at Joëlle and Christian's beautiful home. The gîte is at the back of their house with a private courtyard. It is very peaceful and the facilities are excellent - we had everything we needed and more. The hosts are very warm and kind, happy to share produce from their lovely garden. They also made helpful recommendations for things to do in the area, including a most memorable "ban des vendanges" (party to launch the grape harvest in the local vineyards). All in all, a wonderful stay and great memories!). Merci Joëlle et Christian pour votre accueil chaleureux!

Lovely stayed in Provence

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Joelle and Christian’s gite. Both very helpful; neither speak English but Joelle is very animated so you should get the gist of what she is saying. Location was good - easy access to Avignon, Arles, Apt etc. Lots of little cute villages to visit in the area. The gite is exactly as the photos. Very quiet and private. Secure parking onsite. Had everything we needed. The village is small, very quiet; no real vibe but Le Bistrot and the Maison de Celou are both good for dinner. Also try the “Vin + Fromage” is good for a charcuterie board and wine for lunch. Joelle is very house-proud - she will inspect the gite before you leave so make sure you get everything clean and tidy.

Sehr schönes Apartment mit allem, was man braucht und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Nur die Matratze mochte mein Rücken nicht. Die Terrasse ist ein Traum und man darf sogar den ganzen Garten nutzen. Die Lage ist perfekt, um die Gegend zu erkunden. Im Ort gibt es zwei gute Restaurants, einen schönen Abendmarkt und vieles mehr. Joelle ist eine tolle Gastgeberin, sehr lieb und hilfsbereit mit vielen guten Tipps für Ausflüge und Aktivitäten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

We hebben heerlijk buiten kunnen zitten onder de overkapping. Dat was fijn omdat het erg warm was. Zou je in de zon willen zitten, moet je zoeken naar een plekje. De kamers waren ruim, de badkamer net opgeknapt. De waterstroom in de douche was matig. In de keuken was alles aanwezig om zelf maaltijden te bereiden. De liggen was prima, op loopafstand van het dorp met een paar restaurantjes en op 13 kilometer afstand van Avignon.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Ruhig und mit einer schönen Terrasse und Garten. Tolle Unterkunft mit fantastischen Garten

Schöne Wohnung, wundervoller Garten. Viel Platz für eine kleine Familie. Wir haben unsere Tage dort sehr genossen. Da wir leider kein Französisch konnten, mussten wir mit unseren Gastgebern leider etwas umständlich kommunizieren. Prima verblijf in een interessante omgeving

Ons verblijf in maart 2014 was in alle opzichten perfect. De omgeving is mooi met ook in maart al heerlijk weer om buiten te zijn. De eigenaren van het met oog voor detail goed ingerichte huis, waren zeer vriendelijk en voorzagen ons van allerei tips voor uitstapjes naar de vele bijzondere dorpen en steden in de omgeving. We komen zekre nog eens terug.

Avant tout, l’annonce est très fidèle à l’offre (exposée sur Vrbo/Habritel), au point que l’on réalise que le prix versus l’offre est plus qu’adéquat. Ensuite, la gentillesse et la convivialité des hôtes nous assure un des plus agréables séjour. La localisation de ce gîte est bien centralisée pour explorer l’ouest de la Provence et l’Est de l’Occitanie, qu’ils ont tant à offrir aux touristes. Wunderbare Ferienwohnung

Wir haben uns in der Ferienwohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war alles vorhanden, was man für einen gelungen Urlaub braucht. Schön war die überdachte Terrasse, auf der wir sehr gerne am Morgen und am Abend saßen. Der Ort ist sehr zentral gelegen, so dass wir uns viel ansehen konnten, wie die Ockerfelsen, Avignon, Apt, Abbaye Notre-Dame de Senanque und vieles mehr. Unsere Vermieter waren besonders nett und haben uns mit Obst aus ihren Garten versorgten und uns viel Hinweise für Ausflüge gegeben. Dafür und für die freundliche Aufnahme möchten wir uns nochmal bedanken.
