Cottage in the countryside 10 minutes from Isle sur la Sorgue

Come enjoy the calm of the countryside in the heart of a farm. You will find in this charming cottage, fully restored, on the ground floor a fully equipped kitchen area: fridge, dishwasher, oven, microwave, washing machine, induction hob, extractor hood), a seating area with a sofa -bed that can accommodate 2 people. On the 1st floor, a room with a bed 160 * 200 and a bathroom with tub.
Bath towels are provided. The beds are made on arrival.
Outside to enjoy the unobstructed view of the countryside a relaxation area awaits you, a barbecue, a table and garden chairs. You can listen to the song of cicadas in the shade of walnut.

We put at your disposal free on request all the necessary equipment for a stay with your baby: bath, high chair, cot ...

We will advise you on the sites and the visits to make around. We can direct you to our fellow farmers to stock up on seasonal fruits and vegetables. Farmers market nearby on Saturday morning (Petit-Palais) from March to December.

In season you can enjoy our fruits: nectarines and apricots in early summer, apples (late summer, early fall) and quench your thirst with our apple juice.

Within a radius of 30 km around the cottage you can explore the towns and villages that make the beauty of Vaucluse: Gordes, Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and its fairs in the flea market, Fontaine-de-Vaucluse and its famous resurgence , Avignon: the Palais des Papes, the Pont Saint Bénézet, its festival in July ...., Bonnieux, Lacoste, Roussillon and its ochres, Rustrel and Provencal colorado ... Pernes-les-Fontaines.

This was a great little cottage in the country. It was a wonderful place to stay and visit the nearby villages or Avignon or Aix. I would definitely stay here again.

The place was very charming and has a lot of potential! We would've loved our stay except for the following: the day of our arrival, the host messaged to say we needed to bring our own sheets. We were on our honeymoon, having just arrived in France. Nowhere was this mentioned before and the listing clearly states beds will be made and towels provided. Upon arrival, the beds were completely bare, no pillowcases, no towels, body wash or shampoo, and no wi-fi. The host had not responded to my earlier message saying we were unable to bring our own. We had to go out and buy all these things, but could not find sheets the size of the bed or pillow cases the size of his large pillows. As such, my husband often woke up for the next several nights on the mattress directly, with the sheet having curled. We had to cover the pillows with a fitted sheet. When the host did respond in the evening and said he could bring the things that were missing, I told him we'd already bought some sheets and towels, but that we'd take his since ours didn't fit. The next evening when we returned from our day out, there was a bag outside our door with towels and a wifi box, no sheets. It is a beautiful charming little place, if only we didn't have to go through such a headache.

A wonderful cottage in a quiet environment

We spent our summer vacation here. We found this cottage rather by incident and instantly fell in love with it. The communication with the owners always went promptly and they were very eager to answer all possible questions we had. It is located outside the city in the countryside - perfect for us. If you are looking for a quiet home, where you don't see anyone else (if you don't want to), then this is your choice. We would love to come back anytime again! Within a couple of minutes you reach the Saturday market or are in L'isle-sur-la-sorgue. Avignon also ist just half an hour away. If you are climbing, check out the only ferrata in Europe, that is reachable from a city in Cavaillon - also only minutes away. Odile and David, thank you so much for this wonderful place we had here.

Das Cottage war sehr schön, mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet. Es war sehr sauber und die Kommunikation mit David war sehr gut. Auf unsere Nachfrage gab es sogar noch zwei Sonnenliegen. Top. Es war für uns ein guter Ausgangspunkt, um uns verschiedene Locations in der Provence anzuschauen.

Das Cabanno ist sehr gut eingerichtet und sehr sauber gehalten. David ist ein warmherziger Gastgeber, der uns auch über Ausflugsmöglichkeiten bestens informiert hat. Wir haben die Ruhe, den Wind und das Zirpen der Zikaden genossen. So konnten wir in kürzester Zeit herunterfahren und ankommen. Das Sitzen und Essen unter dem Nussbaum war herrlich. Man ist ganz für sich, ausser dass manchmal ein Hase über die Wiese hoppelt. Wer also die Ruhe und die Natur sucht, der ist in diesem Cabanno goldrichtig.

Points positifs : - Le gîte est agréable et spacieux. Il est bien localisé, beaucoup de choses à voir aux alentours. Points négatifs : - Nous aurions apprécié que l'espace extérieur soit entretenu... Nous avons passé une semaine dans les hautes herbes et en arrivant nous avons dû nettoyer la table du salon de jardin dont la nappe en toile cirée part en lambeaux.- l'équipement de la cuisine est minimaliste, pas de meuble pour ranger les provisions, pas de cocotte ou de sauteuse, une unique poêle plus vraiment anti adhésive et pas de couvercle, pas de râpe ni de ciseaux.... Je ne pourrais pas vous dire si notre hôte est sympathique, nous ne l'avons pas vu de la semaine, boîte à clefs à l'arrivée et au départ.Bref, une prestation commerciale convenable sans plus.... On a connu mieux.

Ruhe und Entspannung in der Provence

Wir hatten sehr schöne und erholsame Tage in dem schönen Häuschen. Die Ruhe und die Möglichkeit in der weiteren und näheren Umgebung viele schöne Dörfer, geschichtliche Sehenswürdigkeiten und interessante Museen zu besichtigen, war ein richtiger Genuss.

Schöne etwas abgelegene Unterkunft

Diese Häuschen gehört zu einem Bauernhof, hat aber einen individuellen Zugang. Es ist einfach, aber behaglich ausgestattet und ruhig gelegen. Die Lage ist prima, um die ganze Provence (mit dem Auto) zu erkunden.

Nach nettem Empfang bekamen wir ausführliche Informationen über die Umgebung und die Sehenswürdigkeiten.Der Häusschen liegt auf einem ruhigen Obstanwesen genau zwischen Cavaillon un isle- sur-Sorgue.Machten Ausflüge in die beiden Orte,nach Gordes und nach Avignon.Mitten in der Lavendelblüte ist Sault zu empfehlen.Wunderbare Bäckerei mit unglaublichin le Petit Palais.

Séjour à Cavaillon / en Provence

L'organisation par contact préalable et la communcation par la suite a été aisée, le propriétaire étant disponible pour touts renseignements, aimable et toujours prêt à rendre service, mais aussi discret, donnant leur place à ses hôtes. Acceuil courtois et aimable par le propriétaire sur place. Logement propre et fonctionnel et pratique pour deux personnes. Environnement de vergers, tranquille avec chant d'oiseaux et visites d'animaux matin et soir dans le jardin (lapins sauvages, huppes, rolliers) . Très bonne expérience. David nous a accueillit avec beaucoup de gentillesse. Il nous a parlé de son métier avec passion.Nous a indiqué quelques bonnes adresse et une coopérative vinicole où nous avons acheté le vin qu'il partage avec les gens qu'il aime .A chaque bouteille ouverte nous penserons à vous David .Merci et bonne continuation dans vos projets .
