The living space is modern and quirky, with exposed roof beams and plenty of character. The kitchen is well equipped with quality units and a bespoke breakfast bar and two high stools. There is an excellent range of utensils and equipment; crockery and glassware. It has a refrigerator and freezer, electric oven and hob, microwave and dishwasher. There is a separate utility area with a washer/dryer. The lounge also has spectacular views. It has a sofa, contemporary furniture and seating area by the window for reading or quiet contemplation. The Smart TV and full commercial grade broadband make it a wonderful base for your stay, whatever the time of year. The bed has hypoallergenic duvets and pillows and good quality bedlinen. Towels are provided for guests use and a hairdryer is available. The top floor location means the apartment is best suited to adult visitors. Derwent House is located just over the Portinscale bridge, around a 15 minute walk into Keswick in a quiet village location on the round Derwentwater walking route. Close to the popular Chalet tea rooms, it is a five minute stroll to the lake, Derwentwater Marina and Nichol End boat hire and 15 minute stroll to the Lingholm kitchen and gardens.
