We stayed for 5 days at this “villa” and the experience was extremely disappointing. Sheets were so dirty I had no choice but to buy my own, pool tiles kept falling off and the response from GuestReady was “don’t use the pool”. This was hilarious because the reason I rented this place and paid extra compared to many other places was the pool. The window shades were broken, there was cat feces everywhere, I had to clean the driveway because there were leftovers and trash juices all over including by the entrance where the trash can was. The sunbathing recliners by the pool were covered in brown stains. Additionally there are cameras all around the property including facing the swimming pool making the women traveling with us uncomfortably using the swimming pool. Lastly they have a no smoking policy, but when we arrived we found many uncleaned cigarette butts that we had to clean ourselves. GuestReady promised to refund me for the sheets I had to buy and a cleaning fee, but the moment we left…nothing despite my repeated emails.
Response from VrboOwner on 26 Oct 2026
We deeply regret the issues you faced during your stay. The condition of the sheets, as well as the state of the driveway and sunbathing recliners, was certainly not up to our standards. We sincerely apologize for the state of the pool and the inadequate response received. These maintenance issues have been promptly addressed to ensure future guests have a seamless experience. Additionally, the cameras are installed for security purposes, but we recognize the concern and are reviewing their placement for guest privacy. The oversight regarding the smoking policy and the delayed promise to refund for the sheets and cleaning fee is unacceptable. Someone from our team is currently making this right and ensuring the refund is processed swiftly. We value your feedback as it helps us improve, and hope to regain your trust in the future.
