We came down for my daughters 21st birthday to celebrate at the Flora-Bama… the property was better than I expected. Easy check in, clean, very comfortable. We had a blast and will def use this property again for future trips to Perdido Key

Great location and very relaxing!

We’ve stayed here before and would definitely stay again! Pool access, beach access and super relaxing for my crew! This particular unit wasn’t very clean, and had a very strong per odor. Other than that, great place to stay!

Beautiful Home

The home was really beautiful. Cute neighborhood. The front door was not easy to lock which was annoying. If you are planning on cooking I suggest you buy paper plates because the ones there are heavy and breakable as well as the drinking glasses. My grandson enjoyed riding the bike provided. Son and grandson said the pool was nasty...but I didn't go to the pool. (?) Many ..many rules...I was almost afraid to breathe. The beds are to be stripped before you leave and bedding brought downstairs. Toilet paper...one roll of paper towels...couple dishwasher tablets provided. I feel like the person checking you in could of at least "acted" friendly. The office was not very easy to find...the signing needs to be where you can see it from the road...or something easier to find.

You get what you pay for

The property itself was very spacious. The cleaning left much to be desired: our socks were black after walking around for a few hours, a few beds were missing top sheets, there were no extra garbage bags, etc. The maintenance was a joke. The heater was not working when we arrived. It was cold, but we bundled up. The real issue is when water started dripping from the LIGHT FIXTURE in the downstairs master. We called the after hours maintenance line 4 times between 10pm and midnight, left voicemails, until I finally got ahold of someone who told us it would have to wait until morning. We found some tools in the cabinet and disassembled the return air vent, dislocated a 3lb block of ice, and proceeded to use our bath towels to sponge up the liquid and squeeze it into a bucket (at least a gallon’s worth) so that water wouldn’t drip from the light anymore. The maintenance people came after 9 the next morning to unclog the drain line and replace our towels. I had to fight the property management company the next day for a refund of the first night, but thankfully they did reimburse me. The upstairs king bed was broken, and terribly uncomfortable. The one window upstairs in the “bunk room” (basically a closet separated by a curtain) is sealed with duct tape. All of the cooking ware is scratched up Teflon, the knives need to be replaced, etc. I have stayed at many vacation rental homes, at many price points, but this one was by far the worst value for the money. Save your money and time and book elsewhere.

Quick getaway

Great experience at this unit. 5 minutes from the bay and less than 5 minutes to the pool. It is located under the bridge but there is a lot of housing and businesses in that area which was surprising. Nice quiet spot to relax and catch your breath which is exactly what we needed. The unit had everything we needed in the kitchen and u parked right at the door. It did take a few tries to figure out the lock but it made sense once we cleared that hurdle. We all said we would return.

Banana Bay

We enjoyed our stay at Banana Bay in Perdido Key! The Bay was perfect for the kids to hunt hermit crabs at night! They found a lot! We ate at the Crab Trap one night and it was good and also had a little play area for the kids! Also the “big beach” was just a short drive from where we stayed! If we ever stay in Perdido Key we will definitely stay here again!

We loved everything about this place except the location. It was very hard to get a Uber so getting a ride around town was a little difficult. If this place was in a more central location or I rented a car would hands down stay there again.
