Due to the nature of a historic building and the narrow streets of the Born area, natural light is more limited than in a modern home with large outdoor spaces.

Due to the building’s original characteristics, the ceilings are relatively low in some areas of the apartment. People of particularly tall stature should take this into account before booking.

The apartment has air conditioning, but not a centralised climate control system for the entire unit. On the hottest days of summer, Barcelona can be hot and humid.

As this is a historic, central, and very lively area, the urban environment may present the usual drawbacks of old city centers in large cities.

On the other hand, its location is hard to beat. Estació de França is very close by, and the beaches of Barceloneta are a pleasant walk away. The apartment also has excellent public transport connections—metro, buses, and trains—right nearby, although much of the historic centre can be easily explored on foot.

El Born, the Gothic Quarter, Parc de la Ciutadella, Port Vell, and numerous iconic Barcelona landmarks are all within walking distance.
