Red cottage from the 1800s on Bjärehalvön

You’ll stay in a classic Falun-red cottage from the late 1800s, nestled in a private, scenic valley spanning 1.8 hectares. Here, a manicured garden meets untamed nature, with fields in front and woods behind where the Skåneleden trail passes through. A restored greenhouse from the 1940s and various garden spaces create a place where time stands still.



The interior design blends summer colors with wallpaper from Helene Blanche, textiles from Svenskt Tenn and Hans Job, flea market finds, and designer furniture. The compact kitchen has everything you need for cooking. In the summer, the doors are wide open, and life flows seamlessly between indoors and outdoors. Please note that the stairs leading up to the house are steep.



The 8,000-square-meter garden alternates between cultivated beds and wild nature. Here, you can create your own spaces under the open sky, surrounded by forest and farmland. A unique location where nature becomes your closest neighbor.



A 15-minute walk downhill (25 minutes uphill) takes you to Kattvikshamn, featuring a swimming area and a kiosk famous for its waffles. By car, you can reach the gems of the Bjäre Peninsula in 10–30 minutes: Hovs Hallar, Torekov, Lindegren’s butcher shop, Paulin’s pier, and Glimminge’s sandy beach. Kattvik’s orchard is right next door.
