Two families, two separate holiday homes on one private estate. Escape to the Cévennes and enjoy your own private holiday estate, perfect for families and groups of friends holidaying together. Mes Maisons combines two charming neighbouring gîtes, sleeping up to 13 guests, with Two Private swimming pools, enclosed dog-friendly gardens and plenty of space to relax together or enjoy a little privacy. Spend sunny days by the pools, share long lunches in the outdoor summer kitchen, fire up the BBQ or pizza oven, and enjoy warm evenings under the stars. There’s also our quirky Disco/Gym/Games Cave with table tennis and projector for extra fun. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, river swimming, traditional villages and markets, it’s a wonderful base for exploring the Cévennes and southern France. Dogs are very welcome, and the enclosed gardens make holidays easier for four-legged guests too. Ideal for multi-generational families, two families sharing, or groups looking for space, sunshine and a relaxed French escape.

Why they chose this property

We chose Gagnières, on the edge of the Cévennes National Park in the Gard, because it offers the kind of South of France holiday we love: beautiful countryside, rivers and natural swimming spots, walking and cycling, traditional villages, markets and long sunny days outdoors.
It’s a wonderful base for exploring the Cévennes, Ardèche and northern Gard, yet the area still feels peaceful and unspoilt. Families love the river beaches and outdoor activities, dog owners have beautiful walks close by, and there are excellent restaurants, markets and villages such as Saint-Ambroix within easy reach.

What makes this property unique

Mes Maisons Gardoises is especially suited to families, groups and dog-friendly holidays in the South of France. The property has two neighbouring holiday gîtes which can be booked separately or together, sleeping up to 13 guests.
Guests booking both gîtes have the whole property and both swimming pools privately for their group. The 3-bedroom gîte also has its own private second pool when the houses are rented separately.
There are enclosed gardens, spacious terraces, a summer kitchen, pizza oven and BBQ, plus our Disco/Gym/Gaming cave with projector and table tennis. With river swimming, walking trails and the Cévennes countryside nearby, it works particularly well for two families holidaying together, multi-generational groups and guests travelling with dogs.
