I went with family for a memorial celebration for a family member who had passed away. Worked out great and enjoyed the back deck & fire pit! Also, beds were comfy and open kitchen & LR were great for entertaining! Thank you Billy:)
This is a lovely house with everything that we needed for a relaxing visit. The nearby farms, wineries, and cider mills were great and the beach was quiet and peaceful.
My colleague and I stayed for 3 nights, Mon to Wed in late Jine. The place is renovated, modern, very clean ascetics and well appointed for a vacation rental. We atayed inside becaise of hot weatheer but wish we cluls have used thw outdoor areas. Theres a short cut to the beach and it took us about 8 minutes to get down, and the private beach was gorgeous, amd not nearly as far as people say, and the stairs were nor problem for us at all. It was perfect, with calm waters and clear. We would definitely come back. And this would be well worth it for couples.
Bill was super quick to respond to any messages and the house was super cute and quaint. The location was right in the heart of wine country! We all had a great weekend!
Adorable little bungalow near the beach. Very clean and bright with calming decor. Comfortable for our family of 4. The neighborhood is like a small quickly beach cabin community in the midst of wine country.
The house is a little snug for a third couple in the living room but the two bedrooms are perfect for two couples. The closets were great for keeping organized and the outdoors was great to enjoy dinner!
Our favorite part was probably the short walk to the beach! We enjoyed three days at the beach!
The house was beautiful and clean!
My friends and I stayed at Billy’s house this past weekend, and we had an amazing time. The beach is nice and only a short walk away. It was an easy trip to the wineries as well. The house was clean and the beds comfortable.
There isn’t really cell service in the area right near the house, which Billy communicated beforehand, but the WiFi at the house worked perfectly for us.
This was a lovely cottage, the outdoor space was very pleasant. Our short vacation was one to relax and just do what we wanted in and around the cottage and in the neighboring area and we did just that. I'd recommend this cottage to friends and family. Bill was always available when I did reach out to him.
Cottage was beautifully updated and very comfortable.
We were disappointed with the beach access. We knew there were stairs but not very easy for some of us.
The other beaches nearby were similar with no beach parking and we didn’t have beach passes.
However, we did have a great time with many things to do nearby.
Suggestion: ski lift…lol
Thank you.

We had a very good stay. The descriptions are accurate. There are a couple of updates. From the materials provided in advance, the entry instructions need to be updated (there is a lock code on the door versus a key box). Also, the wifi access information needs to be updated and the landline is not functional. Also, the chiminea has been upgraded to a gas firepit. We found that the walk to beach access was very easy. (The stairs were not nearly as long as the ones shown in the photo!) As other people have described, the neighborhood has a campground feel but we enjoyed the diversity of homes. The interior of the house is comfortable although, if you spend time indoors you probably want an additional chair. The beds were very comfortable. We didn't use the sleep sofa but it might not be very comfortable.
Overall, the place was very nice. Cozy, easy to find, no cell cervice in the area but the house wifi was good. Everything we needed was there for our convenience. Beds were comfortable. Enough ac all around so the house gets cool quickly (although we didnt use it much). The only thing i wish I had known was the hot water issue I dealt with. Even after running the hot water for full 5 min, the water was still running cold. Other than that, I would say this would be on top of my list to go back.
Things to love:
The home is extremely clean and well organized
The kitchen is perfect for small groups - well equipped with space to gather
Outdoor area is lovely- lots of places to gather and some shade
The provided beach towels are adorable
Everyone we encountered in the neighborhood was kind and welcoming
The host is quick to reply to questions
Things to consider:
While all the homes are permanent, the property is located in a campground-esque neighborhood. This was not what we were expecting.
There were discrepancies between the contract and reality regarding check in time and keys.
The walk to the beach is not long, but there are a lot of steep stairs leading to the water. This makes transporting gear very challenging.

This was a disappointing stay, especially for the price, and I would caution others from renting this house. The good: We loved the community/beach. The house's renovations seem to be recent, the house was clean (subject to notes below), and tastefully decorated. The bad: The house appears to suffer from an absentee host.1. One smoke alarm was beeping from a low battery when we arrived. There was one 9V battery (I don't know if it was unused or just had enough juice to get us through the stay) in a kitchen drawer. I replaced the battery. Both batteries were past the best by dates (I think one was 2023 and one was 2024), reflecting that they were very old.A DIFFERENT smoke alarm alerted at approx. 4am during our first night because of a low battery, waking up all four of us. I disconnected it because there was no additional battery. When contacted the next day, the owner was unapologetic and later claimed it was "strange" that we did not find any more replacement batteries in a different drawer (by the fireplace). A modest amount of effort from the owner and/or staff would have avoided this.2. The kitchen stove was beeping from some sort of electrical error when we arrived. I unplugged it (we did not need it for our visit). There were at least three dead mice behind the stove when I pulled it out.3. The house is musty, I think from no vent in the bathroom. My wife's eyes were swollen from an allergic reaction.4. Not enough blankets for cool fall nights.
This cottage seems to have been recently updated and was very very clean and very well appointed with new appliances. It was just me and my husband so the two bedroom cottage was perfect for us. Whenever I had a question, Billy, the owner always got back to us within minutes. The neighborhood is really adorable and the walk to the beach was all of 5 min or less. Highly recommend!!
My love and desire for the water started in my childhood years, growing up on the South Shore of Long Island. The water inspires me in every which way, and I knew that I always wanted my own piece of waterfront paradise. My professional background is in Real Estate - I own and am responsible for dozens of rentals across the NYC metro area. After traveling outside of the U.S., which include destinations in Europe, South America & Caribbean, I decided to take all of my experience and passion to pursue my dream on the beautiful North Fork of Long Island.
