The yard is surrounded with a ficus hedge allowing for max privacy and consists of a salt-water swimming pool and Egyptian glass tiled spa. There are multiple seating and lounging areas outdoors including shaded dining area, an outside living room, a tiki hut for cocktails or cigars, poolside chaises for 5, and a custom carved fire pit from Mexico. Being a bit farther away from the mountain is key to the success of the outdoor spaces in the house; you get almost an extra hour of sunlight (and sunsets) during the day as compared to the homes close to downtown (and those huge mountains! The primary bedroom has a wall of French doors leading to the pool with an en suite bath (also with French door to pool) with a large, marble shower. The larger guest bedroom has a television with a full cable package including Netflix and Amazon., as does the great room. The master and the larger guest bedroom have a ceiling fan and luxurious cotton linens. The smaller bedroom has two twin beds, and all rooms have closets. There is an elegant round dining table that seats 6-8 for interior dining or game night. The breakfast bar island in the kitchen seats 4 atop the striking quartz countertops and glass backsplash, and there is a washer and dryer just off the side entrance in the attached garage. Participate locally: If you arrive by Thursday, the Palm Springs' downtown area 'Village Fest' on Palm Canyon Drive is transformed into a bustling street fair...Artists, craftsmen, food vendors, musicians and entertainers are there to entertain. Stock up on local farm veggies/fruit or enjoy some great people watching. Farmers Market every Saturday morning on Baristo between Farrell and Sunrise streets and then switches to indoors off Ramon on Pavilion Way when the weather gets warmer.

Also experience, on Friday from 4pm to 9pm, 'First Friday On North Palm Canyon' (every month, year-round), between Tachevah and Amado Road, featuring entertainment, food and fun, where more than 50 antique furnishings and art stores remain open into the late evening.
