The Fine Recline beach house is a lovely retreat located in the private, gated community of Kiwanda Shores in Pacific City. Beautifully maintained and feeling nearly brand new, this welcoming home offers a comfortable and relaxed setting for your next Oregon Coast getaway.

Inside, the home features a cozy, open layout designed for easy living. Plush recliner sofas invite you to settle in and unwind in front of the warm gas fireplace—perfect after a day at the beach or exploring the coast. The bright living space flows easily into the dining and kitchen areas, creating a comfortable gathering spot for meals, conversation, and quiet evenings.

The home includes two spacious bedrooms, along with a den that features a sleeper sofa and TV, providing additional sleeping space and a great spot for movie nights or a quiet place to relax.

Located on a quiet road within this peaceful beachside neighborhood, The Fine Recline offers a calm and private atmosphere just moments from the ocean. Out back, a sunny deck provides a sheltered spot to enjoy the fresh coastal air—perfect for morning coffee, an afternoon book, or relaxing out of the wind after a day on the sand.

Cancellation Policy:
1/2 the total cost of the booking is subject to forfeiture if reservation is canceled or changed within 30 days of arrival. 100% of rental rate is charged if cancelled (or no-show) within 14 days of arrival. If the house is fully rebooked by another renter, cancellation charges (less $35) will be refunded. Reservation cancellation fee is $35. (If you book with a 3rd party, different charges may apply).

Occupancy Note:
Occupancy rules are strictly enforced and apply to the entire property during the stay. Additional day-use guests may be allowed with management pre-approval. After your booking is confirmed, you will be sent the full rental contract and terms.

The dunes were a bit high for my mother in law, but it was nice to be only a couple of blocks from the ocean. The house was nice, clean, and spacious. It would've been helpful to have a few more towels and more places to hang wet towels and suits. But, the beds were comfortable, and the neighbors were friendly. I would rent this place again.

Tiny TV

Full recycle bin left under sink made us wonder about their COVID cleaning protocol . Open floor plan was nice. Kitchen appliances were very old. Microwave door had a huge crack. The biggest fail was the TINY TV smaller than a computer monitor. Nice days on Oregon Coast you are outside...rainy days (there are a lot) you are snugged inside watching TV. No TVS in bedrooms. Would we stay there again...I don't think so

We stayed at this property from Jul 31-Aug 3/18. The problems started immediately. 1. We arrived at 11 pm on Jul 31 and retrieved the garage opener from the box outside the mgmt office. Unbeknownst to us, the home is inside a gated community. Too bad no one bothered to tell us the gate code in the instructions. For 15 min I stood aimlessly in the dark trying random gate codes. After 15 min, a vehicle leaving the development opened the gate from the other side. 2. The state of cleaning inside the home was the most disgusting I have ever seen at a VRBO property. I can provide photos. My wife glanced at the pillow covers in the master bedroom prior to putting our kids to sleep. Both pillows had random hairs stuck to the pillow cases, aside from makeup. The pillow in the closet was equally bad. The pillow covers in the 2nd bedroom were also covered in random hairs. 3. After discovering the pillows, we pulled off the mattress covers. In both bedrooms we found removable pillow tops stained in urine. The mattresses were similar. It was as if the cleaners/owner/mgmt company thought visitors would never bother looking under the sheets. Additionally, numerous hairs were stuck to the fabric of the pillow tops. The removable pillow top in the 2nd bedroom was even more gross...it contained dried spots of blood. 3. At one point, our child's ball fell under the master bed. My wife reached under and discovered a used (stained) Q-Tip in her hand. This was no longer a cleanliness issue, but now a health one. 4. The used dish sponge left under the sink contained a short, curly black hair...wow! Where did you think this hair came from?..my guess it was used to clean the sink/tub, and then placed in the kitchen. 5. The fridge was not cleaned. Most troubling was the short, curly black hair found on the lip of a glass shelf. Can you see a theme emerging? The hair was probably transplanted there by using the same sponge used in the bathroom. 6. After calling the Kiwanda rep, she sent a cleaner. When I asked for a full refund, she refused and said she didn't have the authority to do so and refunded one night. She stated the only way I could receive a full refund was if I vacated the home?! Probably the most dismissive part of her reply was the property was a beach house, and that she has seen worse. I have stayed in Tofino (Vancouver Island) which is more rustic, and the cabin was never this filthy. I am still waiting for my damage deposit!

Nice house. Kitchen is rather sparsely stocked with cooking utensils, so if planning on cooking in be prepared. We ate out.

Great beach house minutes from beach

Spacious, tidy house with all the kitchen appliances you would need/want. Kids had a lot of fun playing with the foosball table. We enjoyed riding the bikes to get some lunch. Great location and decent price. Only thing we would have liked is to have a TV in the main room. Thanks!

Beach house

Upon arriving at our first beach house, we noticed a very strong unpleasant smell, coming from a closet. I called the property manager, and she quickly set us up in a different home. It was fast and easy!

Great property! Clean, had the room we needed. Comfy beds, we cooked a little bit. We were on the go outside quite a bit so mostly needed a place to sleep. We did laundry and used the bicycles. Would stay again. Great neighborhood. Quiet, saw deer every day. Easy walk into town.
