Five ladies visited together for a reunion, and we loved all having our own beds! Convenient and central location, lots of kitchen stuff, as needed. Our favorite was enjoying coffee together in the living room or front porch. It’s an older home, so if you are on record heat days, then plan for hot air to rise and the second floor sometimes struggles to stay cool. Location is heavily populated, and you will hear outside noises, but it wasn’t wild.Comfortable, convenient, would stay again.
House was just as described. Plenty of things in the kitchen to cook with. Super stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, etc. Beds were sooo comfy. Outdoor furniture really made our stay even better. Located close to all the things in Southside. If you dont mind walking I would say it's about to mile to restaurants. My son (7 yo) loved having a book available to read. We all enjoyed a game of Apples to Apples Junior. Large table in the dining area seats all the guests. The couch is comfy. I can't say anything bad about this property!!
Home was perfect for 6 adults over four nights, convenient to downtown and adjacent to a great neighborhood with breweries and eateries. Host was excellent.
We loved the house and the location. Short drive or walk to get to everything we wanted to do . Owner was great and had everything we needed in the house for us to use. Highly recommend.
The description of the property was correct. We were hoping to be in walking distance to some shops or places to eat but it was a little too far.
The street and intersection are busy but the traffic noise was not bad st all. Having coffee pods provided was very nice.
The house is as advertised. It’s clean, big enough for our family of 7 - including a 6 month old, and the location is close to everything there is to do in the area.
My friends gather every year and we are so happy we choose this house! We all had our own bed but we were still together! The house was lovely with the old and new architecture, very comfortable and convenient to SO MANY places! It was a pleasure to stay here and easy to access. We were sad to leave! Thank you for a wonderful respite!
The house was wonderful. And Lisa was so quick to respond with messages. The house was adorable and very clean and just minutes to downtown. Totally recommend!!
We were in Chattanooga for the IronMan and this location and layout was perfect for our family. It is in a transition location but we never felt unsafe. Parking was a breeze, great to have laundry accessible in the unit and the rooms were well appointed.
The house is amazing and had a lot of space for us to spread out. The location was close to everything we wanted to visit. It was either too cold or wet for us to enjoy the outdoor porch (more shaded in the afternoons), but we sat on the sunny front porch a few times just to watch the world pass by. The house had everything we needed and loved our time there. The host was incredibly helpful and communicative. We hope to stay there again!!
We had a great weekend in Chattanooga. The home is very close to bike downtown. The beds are all comfortable and the home was very clean. The home is not very insulated from outside noise but this was not a big problem. Overall, we would stay again.

About the host
Hosted by Lisa Brown
Tony and I grew up in the Chattanooga area. After living away for a few years we moved back to the area to raise our children on our family farm just across the Georgia boarder. We are lucky enough to experience the best of both worlds by enjoying our home downtown and having the farm in Ringgold. We are very involved in our downtown neighborhood and love our DT community. We take advantage of all that Chattanooga has to offer. We love the great restaurants, nightlife and music in our city. We enjoy the walking path along the river, the many hiking trails we have access to, fishing in nearby streams, and attending the great events we host in our city. Our daughter is a rower and you will find us cheering her on at the Head of Hooch or Chattanooga Head Race. When we travel we head to Bozeman to visit our son and enjoy the outdoors beauty of Montana.
Why they chose this property
We purchased this property in the Fall of 2017 because we love the University area. We own the a home across the street and have watched this home for several years. When it became available we jumped at the chance to purchase it. This house had so much charm and character that we just had to have it. We have spent the last several months updating it and love the results. We think you will too!
What makes this property unique
The home has beautiful hardwood floors, large windows for great light, soaring ceilings and beautiful molding.
