Welcome to Abiding Place!

This conveniently located BEACHFRONT property has all of the modern conveniences you will find at home including but not limited to multiple TVs, DVD players, WIFI, stereo, a well-equipped kitchen with granite countertops and all basic appliances (brand new range and dishwasher in December 2020), tile floors throughout, large covered beachfront porches, an outdoor shower and park-style charcoal grill. Fresh interior paint December 2021.

The Gulf front Master bedroom with King sized bed has a private bathroom with jetted tub and beachfront deck. The guest bedroom with Queen bed and private bathroom is just down the hall from the Master and a second Queen bed can be found in the loft bedroom overlooking the living area. Additional sleeping accommodations include TWO Queen size sleeper sofas (newly replaced sleeper sofa in December 2020).

Abiding Place is located within the 'Gulf Beaches' area of St. George Island. This area extends 2 mile East and 2 miles West of the center of the Island. Local businesses, which include rental and gift shops, restaurants, pubs and more, are all located in the center of the Island. Our home is just a short stroll to these locations and the historic St. George Light, Lighthouse Keeper's Museum and Lighthouse Park.

This home is a non-smoking and dog friendly environment (we allow up to 2 dogs only, under 45lbs with advance approval and for an additional fee of $150 + tax.) Beach towels available!

Our home requires a Sunday turn day in Spring Break and Summer seasons; for all other seasons please inquire.

We had a great time at Abiding Place. The location is perfect for riding bikes and golf carting to all the local restaurants and shops. The view from the living area was breathtaking! Can't wait to visit SGI again!

Short but sweet

We’ve stayed at this property before and loved it. Unfortunately we only got to stay two nights due to hurricane Helene, but the property was clean and we enjoyed the time we got to spend there. Hope to return soon.

Just what the doctor ordered!

We made last minute reservations for a quick family getaway after my mother-n-law's funeral, and our escape to Abiding Place was wonderfully healing! It was such a bright, happy beach house and the location was perfect! We are planning on making it yearly trip! Thank you!!!

Bday trip

This property is exactly like the online pictures! Right on the beach and a short walking distance to most things on the island. The property was clean, stocked, and easily accessible. The chairs setting out on the deck were nice quality and made relaxing on the desk a pleasure. During our stay a light bulb was out and the property owners called to see if we needed it fixed. Overall a great place to spend a nice vacation. Will definitely be going back!
