VR-014016. Comfortable and cozy 1006 square foot townhouse in uptown Pagosa Springs just off the Pagosa Springs golf course. Located near the airport, close to a disk golf course, with shopping and restaurants nearby. World's deepest hot springs for soaking are a five minute drive away. Local outdoor activities include lake and stream fishing less than two miles away, hiking in national forests, tubing in the local river, snowboarding, skiing, sledding and snowshoeing during the winter at local ski resorts. It is a five-minute drive to an RC plane park. Dark, clear skies at night for star-gazing and meteor spotting. This is a get-away home for relaxing with family or as a home base for adventuring
The townhouse is located in a quiet neighborhood. It has two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed. The second bedroom has a full size bed. There are 1.75 baths, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room and a deck off the master bedroom. A washer and dryer are located inside the home. Cable TV, internet, and a DVD player are provided. Board games, DVDs, and logic puzzles will help provide personal or family entertainment if desired.

We enjoyed our stay. Host was very communicative. The home is well taken care of and perfect for 5 people. The neighborhood is quiet and close to all that Pagosa Springs has to offer.

This place was really great. Perfect set-up for us and our 2 boys: nice kitchen that was well-stocked, comfy living room for watching football, very clean and neat bedrooms, and bathrooms with plenty of towels (which you always need in Pagosa!). The basket and cookie jar with chocolate inside was a very sweet and welcoming touch, as was the bench full of games. Just a very sweet little house that made for a great family vacation.

It was a very nice place, but the only issue we had was that it didn't have A/C. It got pretty hot during the day inside. It was 85 degrees each day we were Pagosa Springs.

My wife and I are retired teachers from San Diego. I enjoy building items out of wood, making home made soap and candles using solar energy, renovating and improving my homes and properties. I enjoy being outside to garden, taking walks to just enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. My wife loves to sew and quilt. She is a PHD in quilting (Projects Half Done) as she jumps from project to project. She still teaches sewing to elementary and middle school students during the summer and loves teaching a useful skill of using sewing machines, reading and using plans and being creative to the students. we have three adult children and four wonderful, unique and enjoyable granddaughters.

Why they chose this property

Our youngest son married a woman from Pagosa Springs and moved there to raise a family. We enjoy seeing our family (especially the 2 Colorado grandkids) but do not like to impose when visiting. When we travel from San Diego to visit we stay at the Golf House. It is a place of peace and quiet after a busy day with the family.
We had never been to Pagosa Springs until our son moved there, but after visiting fell in love with the area. The combination of seasons, outdoor activities and pleasant, down-to-earth people make this a second home for us.

What makes this property unique

It is wonderful to be close to all the activities offered in the area (golfing, fishing, tubing, disc golf, hiking, biking, sledding, snowshoeing, snowboarding and skiing to name a few) while being close to shops and restaurants in the uptown section of Pagosa.
