Behold the most breathtaking view of the Kohala coastline! Hale Malie is a charming Hawaiian vacation home, featuring stunning ocean views, 3 spacious bedrooms, and 3 bathrooms in the exclusive Fairways South community at Mauna Kea Resort. This classic Mauna Kea home features a private heated lap pool, spacious family-friendly rooms, and beautiful zen-inspired landscaping. The home boasts a large open-concept living area with a media center, bar, dining for eight and wall-to-wall glass sliders to enjoy one of the best ocean views at Mauna Kea Resort. The living room features comfortable furnishings, a plush area rug (with lots of space to spread out) and an eclectic collection of local art, Asian antique,s and Hawaiian heirloom furnishings. Guests will naturally gravitate to the outdoor living spaces with a lanai that is perfectly suited for family fun in the sun. The unique kitchen has windows that open to a pool-side bar, making feeding the kids and entertaining outdoors a breeze. The kitchen was renovated in 2022 and features beautiful new blue granite countertops, new tile flooring, new appliances, and custom storage.
The bedrooms are located near to each other in the eastern wing of the home. The en suite master bedroom is all about the ocean view as you gaze down upon Kauna'oa Bay from the comfort of your bed! Glass sliding doors open to your own private grass yard, perfect for morning yoga or just to lounge in the sun. The second guest bedroom offers a king size bed and a private garden lanai. The third bedroom is extra large in size with three queen size bunk beds, a desk and a large open space ideal for a play area. The second and third bedrooms share a bathroom and there is a third bathroom located off of the kitchen (near the pool) that is complete with an additional shower. This classic Mauna Kea vacation home features thoughtful upgrades while still maintaining the vintage charm of the mid-century architecture and Pacific-island aesthetic that the resort is renown for.
Guests of Mauna Kea Fairways South 3 may purchase daily resort access to enjoy all facilities and amenities at both the Mauna Kea and Westin Hapuna Resorts. Access must be purchased for the entire duration of your stay and covers all registered guests in the unit. Please note: This privilege is offered directly by Mauna Kea Resort, and South Kohala Management is not responsible for any changes to resort services or amenities. Rates are as follows:
